About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you someone who finds satisfaction in organizing a bustling camp behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Camp Administrator who feels right at home juggling spreadsheets, troubleshooting daily issues, and making sure everyone has what they need, exactly when they need it. Our base camp in Al Quoz is growing, and we need someone with strong computer skills and a knack for coordination to keep things running smoothly. If you’re ready for a hands-on role with real impact, you might just be the person we’re hoping to meet.
About the Company
We’re a tightly-knit team committed to creating a comfortable and efficient environment for everyone living and working in our staff camp. While we may not have nap pods or juice bars, our team thrives on mutual respect, quick problem solving, and a dash of good humor to get through the busiest weeks. You’ll find an open-door culture here—questions are welcome, initiative is celebrated, and honest feedback is always appreciated. And yes, our Friday group check-ins (with tea, of course) can get lively.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily camp-related administrative tasks to keep things organized and on schedule
- Updating and managing records using MS Excel—think attendance sheets, inventory logs, and maintenance schedules
- Coordinating between camp residents, vendors, and management to make sure needs are met promptly
- Monitoring supplies and arranging timely restocking or repairs as needed
- Handling room allocations, move-ins, and move-outs with careful attention to detail
- Troubleshooting small hiccups, from IT issues to facilities concerns, before they become big problems
- Preparing simple reports to keep everyone in the loop about camp status and occupancy
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations (you’re comfortable with formulas, not just copy-paste!)
- Experience in camp administration or a similar role—proven ability to work independently
- Strong organization and record-keeping skills
- Clear, friendly communication in English
- Ability to join immediately, ready for a fast start in Al Quoz
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience managing employee or industrial camps in the UAE
- Familiarity with inventory management or maintenance tracking software
- A calm demeanor when things get hectic
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Steady, reliable work in a supportive team environment
- Open lines of communication with management—your ideas will be heard
- Real responsibility and autonomy in your day-to-day
- Regular working hours with occasional flexibility as needed
- Immediate start available for those ready to jump in
At the end of the day, you’ll be part of a hardworking team that values trust, clear processes, and making life smoother for everyone in camp. If you’re looking for a role where your attention to detail truly matters, we hope you’ll consider joining us!
