What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing a wide range of canapés, finger sandwiches, miniature pastries, and fresh salads, with an eye for visual appeal and consistency
- Developing and updating recipes for seasonal or themed events—your input’s valued!
- Ensuring every platter meets our cleanliness and quality standards before it heads out
- Organizing your station for efficiency; you understand that speed matters, especially on a tight timeline
- Carefully managing portion sizes and minimizing waste, because sustainable kitchens are happy kitchens
- Collaborating with the events team to fulfill custom orders or dietary needs—sometimes with quick turnarounds
- Maintaining a spotless workspace, from prep to closing
- Occasionally assisting with kitchen inventory and supply orders
- Sharing knowledge and tricks with junior cooks—teamwork really matters here
