About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever imagined leading a buzzing open kitchen where fragrant spices and sizzling grills come together to create Dubai’s most unforgettable feasts? We’re searching for a Head Chef/Kitchen Supervisor who’s passionate about Arabic, Gulf, and seafood cuisine—and ready to inspire a kitchen team in a city that never stops craving new flavors. If you thrive on hands-on leadership and know how to bring out the best in every dish and every chef, this might just be your next adventure.
About the Company
We’re a locally loved seafood and grill restaurant set in the vibrant heart of Dubai, drawing in guests with the authentic sights, smells, and tastes of the Arabian Gulf. Tradition matters around here, but so does creativity and teamwork—our chefs swap stories as often as they swap spice blends. The team is tight-knit and driven, balancing the pace of a busy service with a genuine love for their craft. Fridays might mean a new seafood special, and shared staff tastings are as routine as they are a reason to smile.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily kitchen operations, from prep through service—all with a hands-on, lead-by-example style
- Preparing and perfecting classic dishes like Mandi, Madfoon, Madhbi, Majboos, and biryanis, alongside fresh grill and seafood offerings
- Ensuring every plate sent out embodies our standards for taste, presentation, and authenticity
- Training, mentoring, and motivating a diverse kitchen crew, helping everyone level up
- Managing inventory, supplier relationships, and daily ordering (yes, that sometimes means holding the fish up for a sniff test)
- Monitoring and controlling food costs, always balancing quality with efficiency
- Updating and enforcing recipe procedures for consistency across all shifts
- Keeping the kitchen running smoothly (and safely), maintaining hygiene and food safety to Dubai’s highest requirements
- Rolling up your sleeves, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with your team—especially during the busiest rushes
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years of chef experience, with a strong background in Arabic, Gulf, and seafood/grill cuisine

- Solid skills in food cost management, kitchen supervision, and daily operations
- A genuine passion for hospitality and excellent guest experience
- Willingness and physical ability to be on your feet for extended hours
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior head chef or kitchen supervisor experience in Dubai or the Gulf region
- Experience introducing new menu items or seasonal specials
- Strong communication in English and/or Arabic
Not sure if you’re the “perfect fit”? Let’s talk—sometimes passion and potential mean more than checking every box.
