What You’ll Be Doing
- Interpret technical drawings and project plans to execute bespoke carpentry for high-end interiors
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of carpenters and laborers onsite
- Install and assemble joinery, cabinetry, and customized fit-out elements with precision
- Coordinate closely with designers, site engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless deliverables
- Manage work schedules, material orders, and inventory to keep projects on track
- Inspect finished work for quality, and troubleshoot onsite challenges as they arise
- Ensure all works comply with safety standards and company protocols
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years professional carpentry experience, especially in interior fit-out and joinery
- Proficiency in reading/interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with furniture installation, wall panels, cabinets, and wooden fixtures
- Thorough knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and safety standards
- Ability to work well under deadlines and adapt to shifting project needs
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working in Abu Dhabi or the UAE interior fit-out industry
- Familiarity with modern and traditional carpentry techniques
- Basic spoken English or Arabic for site coordination
