About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to see your craftsmanship come to life in the form of a beautiful sofa or a sleek modern lounge? We’re looking for skilled Carpenters with a passion for furniture-making—folks who take pride in turning raw materials into pieces that become the heart of a home. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience under your belt, this is a great opportunity to hone your skills in a hands-on environment, with plenty of room to grow.
About the Company
We’re a close-knit team of furniture makers, known for creating custom sofas, eye-catching lounges, and one-of-a-kind seating sets that people can’t wait to show off. Our workshop buzzes with the hum of tools, the warmth of banter, and the shared energy of folks who genuinely love what they do. Fridays are our day off (and trust us, we know how to enjoy them), but the rest of the week is all about collaborating, sharing craftsmanship tips, and perfecting our designs together.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and assembling sofas, armchairs, seating sets, lounges, and tables according to blueprints or custom orders
- Precision cutting, sanding, and finishing of wood and other materials, ensuring every detail is just right
- Collaborating with upholsterers and designers to achieve the perfect fit and finish
- Keeping your workspace tidy and organized—it’s much easier to spot your next masterpiece that way
- Adapting designs or approaches as needed for special projects or unique customer requests
- Participating in a short, paid trial period (just 3 days) to get familiar with our tools and team
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Experience with carpentry tools, especially in furniture making (sofas, chairs, or similar items)
- Age between 18 and 30, as per role requirements
- Valid residence permit (a must for employment)
- Willingness to work a full shift from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a well-deserved lunch break
- Eagerness to learn, strong hands-on skills, and a professional attitude
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in a high-paced workshop or furniture factory
- A knack for creative problem-solving—sometimes that corner piece just won’t fit!
- Positive energy and a collaborative spirit: we believe every masterpiece needs a great team
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
