What You’ll Be Doing

  • Process customer purchases quickly and accurately using the cash register and card terminals
  • Issue receipts, handle returns or exchanges, and answer typical billing-related questions
  • Keep your checkout area neat, tidy, and ready for action (think of it as your personal customer service stage)
  • Provide friendly, helpful responses to customer inquiries, going the extra mile to solve minor snags
  • Double-check daily cash and transaction records to ensure totals match up at closing
  • Restock bags, receipt paper, and occasionally jump in to assist the floor team with light organizing tasks
  • Flag any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor before they become bigger issues
  • Help foster a positive and efficient store atmosphere

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous cashier or point-of-sale experience (even just a few months makes a difference!)
  • Basic math skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills — fluent English is essential
  • A friendly, patient manner with a genuine desire to help customers
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or shifts

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience using electronic payment terminals in the UAE
  • Comfort with basic stock or inventory tasks
