About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Front Desk, Phones, and Everything In Between — We Need a People Person in Downtown Dubai
Ever walked into a place and instantly felt welcome? That's not an accident — that's the person at the front desk doing their job brilliantly. We're hiring Customer Service Representatives, Front Desk Receptionists, and Call Center Agents to be that first friendly face and voice for our company in the heart of Downtown Dubai. Whether you're just starting your career or you've been doing this for years, if you genuinely enjoy helping people, keep reading — this one's worth your time.
About Us
We're a growing company based in one of the busiest, most vibrant corners of Dubai, and our front-of-house team is the heartbeat of our daily operations. We're not a faceless corporation — we're a tight-knit crew that believes good service starts with treating our own people well. Walk into our office on any given morning and you'll hear a mix of languages, a lot of coffee being poured, and someone laughing at a desk. We move fast, we support each other, and we're big on giving people room to grow into bigger roles.
We're currently expanding, which is why we're hiring across three connected roles. If you're already in the UAE and ready to start soon, you could be settling into your new desk within days.
What You'll Be Doing
- Greet visitors, clients, and walk-ins with a warm, professional welcome — and make sure they never feel lost
- Handle incoming calls, answer questions, and route inquiries to the right person without dropping the ball
- Respond to customer queries over phone, email, or chat with patience and a genuine desire to solve problems
- Keep the front desk and reception area tidy, organized, and presentable — first impressions matter
- Manage appointments, log inquiries, and keep basic records up to date
- Coordinate with internal teams so nothing slips through the cracks
- Handle the occasional curveball with a calm head and a smile (because let's be honest, no two days are identical)
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- You're currently inside the UAE (this is essential — we can't process overseas applications)
- Good communication skills in English — additional languages are a big plus in this city
- A friendly, can-do attitude and a real willingness to help people
- Basic comfort with computers and phone systems (we'll train the rest)
- Punctuality and reliability — this role depends on you showing up ready
Nice-to-Haves:
- Prior experience in customer service, reception, or call centers (but freshers, don't be shy — we've trained plenty of great people from scratch)
- Familiarity with Dubai's business culture and pace
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you. Attitude and willingness to learn often matter more than a perfect resume.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Salary between AED 2,500 and AED 4,000, depending on your experience and role
- Free visa sponsorship — we handle it, you don't stress about paperwork
- Medical insurance covered
- Yearly vacation so you actually get to rest and recharge
- Open to all nationalities — our team is a genuine mix, and we like it that way
- Growth potential — several of our team leads started right at the front desk
- A Downtown Dubai location that's easy to reach and exciting to work in
We know the job market moves fast, and so do we. If you're looking for a stable role with a team that values you, this is a solid place to land. Immediate joiners are especially welcome — we're ready when you are.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk us through how you'd handle a morning where three visitors arrive at once, the phone is ringing, and a courier needs a signature — all within five minutes.
- What's your approach to keeping the reception area presentable and organized during a really busy day?
- If a caller is upset about something outside your control, how do you keep the conversation calm and productive?
- Which phone systems, scheduling tools, or CRM software have you used before? How quickly do you usually pick up new ones?
- How would you decide whether an inquiry should be handled by you directly or escalated to another team?
- Tell us about a time you dealt with a difficult customer. What did you do, and how did it end?
- Describe a moment when you caught a mistake — yours or someone else's — before it became a bigger problem.
- Have you ever had to juggle several tasks with competing deadlines? How did you prioritize?
- What drew you to a front desk and customer service role specifically, rather than something behind the scenes?
- This role depends on punctuality and reliability. How do you make sure you're always ready to go, even on tough mornings?
- Our team speaks a mix of languages and comes from all over. What's it like for you working with people from very different backgrounds?
- If a visitor arrives frustrated and you genuinely can't solve their issue on the spot, how do you make sure they still leave feeling heard?
