Introductory Paragraph

Looking to take the next step in your civil engineering career? This Site Engineer role in Abu Dhabi could be just the challenge you’re after. Our team is searching for a detail-oriented, hands-on Civil Engineer eager to dive into site operations and make a real impact on our ongoing projects around the Mussafah area. If you thrive in fast-moving environments where problem-solving matters just as much as technical know-how, keep reading — you might have just found your next home.

About the Company

We’re a well-established engineering and construction group headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with sites that range from innovative infrastructure work to community developments that locals will rely on for decades. Our team? Diverse, welcoming, and filled with people who don’t mind rolling up their sleeves. Whether it’s our impromptu coffee breaks on-site or those legendary after-hours team barbeques, we believe the best results come from a crew that communicates openly and supports each other.

Our approach to work is straightforward: get things done, safely and smartly, with an eye for quality and a commitment to ethical practices. We’re growing, and every new hire genuinely shapes the way we evolve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing daily site activities to ensure high-quality execution of civil works according to project plans and timelines.
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other teams to solve challenges as they arise — no two days are quite alike.
  • Preparing regular progress reports and updates for project management, helping everyone keep their finger on the project’s pulse.
  • Conducting site inspections, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental requirements are met at every stage.
  • Reading and interpreting structural drawings and specifications, then translating them into actionable steps for the team.
  • Proactively identifying potential delays or bottlenecks, and pitching in with practical solutions on the spot.
  • Attending site meetings, sharing updates, voicing ideas, and advocating for safety and efficiency — your input matters here.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering (or closely related field) with proven site experience.
  • 2+ years experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on mid-to-large-scale projects within the UAE.
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, technical drawings, and site management.
  • Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus).
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UAE (applications open to all nationalities residing in the UAE).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with Abu Dhabi/Mussafah construction regulations and standards.
  • Experience working in multicultural teams or with fast-moving project schedules.
  • Competency with engineering/construction software (like AutoCAD or similar tools).

Not sure you tick every box? Don’t let that hold you back — we care more about potential and attitude than perfection.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary: AED 7,000–9,000 per month (commensurate with experience).
  • Accommodation and transportation allowances or arrangements are open for discussion.
  • Two-year residence permit, with contract renewal potential if you’re loving the work (and we’re loving you).
  • Comprehensive health insurance for your peace of mind.
  • Laid-back, team-driven environment that recognizes hard work but also values downtime.
  • Real opportunities for career progression as our company expands.

We believe that when you have support both on and off the site, you can truly shine. If you’re excited by challenging projects and a collaborative, multicultural team, you’ll feel right at home here.

  • How have you adapted to working in fast-paced or multicultural teams in the past? What strategies helped you integrate and collaborate effectively?

  • In what ways do you contribute to building a positive and supportive work environment, both on and off the construction site?
