About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever pictured yourself ensuring that the buildings shaping Dubai’s skyline run seamlessly, year after year? If so, this Civil Engineer role specializing in Building Maintenance could be just the opportunity you’re after. In a city where nothing stands still, your expertise will help keep things running safely and smoothly — and your decisions will matter every single day. This isn’t your average desk job: it’s hands-on, solution-oriented work at the heart of Dubai’s ever-evolving built environment.

About the Company

We’re a well-established facilities management company that takes immense pride in the reliability and trust we bring to our clients and our team. Here, the tempo is lively and the focus is always on quality — whether that’s our Friday knowledge-sharing sessions or spontaneous brainstorming over karak in the break room. We value practical thinkers, open communicators, and professionals who genuinely care about the life and safety of the city’s diverse spaces. Growth is on the horizon, and we believe our people are at the core of that journey.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct thorough inspections and ongoing site assessments for a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial buildings.
  • Oversee routine and urgent building maintenance works, coordinating on-site teams and trusted contractors.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot structural issues — from minor cracks to major wear — and recommend effective solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical maintenance reports and cost estimates to both clients and management.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local regulations and Dubai Municipality standards in all work carried out.
  • Supervise renovation projects, upgrades, and essential repairs, prioritizing safety at every step.
  • Liaise closely with tenants, property managers, and colleagues, always with a focus on exceptional service.
  • Keep meticulous records of work orders, inspections, and contract documentation.
  • Stay current on building codes and innovative maintenance practices relevant to Dubai’s unique climate and fast growth.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Valid Dubai Municipality license for Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building maintenance in Dubai
  • Solid track record with both preventive and corrective maintenance and general construction works
  • Valid UAE driving license — you’re comfortable moving from site to site
  • Transferable residency visa
  • Strong technical knowledge and sharp problem-solving skills
  • Professional-level communication in English (Arabic is a plus), both verbal and written

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with CAFM/maintenance management software
  • Working knowledge of sustainability practices in building maintenance
  • A collaborative, can-do approach to site challenges

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with regular reviews
  • Company vehicle or allowance for site visits
  • Comprehensive medical insurance
  • Supportive team with open-door management
  • On-the-job training and plenty of opportunity to grow — both laterally and into senior roles
  • Regular team gatherings and annual outings (because hard work deserves a break)
  • Flexible, dynamic work environment: No two days are the same!

We believe in rolling up our sleeves, solving real problems, and building trust with every project. If you’re ready to bring your civil engineering expertise to a team that values dedication, innovation, and camaraderie, we think you’ll feel right at home here.
