What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee site inspections and ensure all construction activities meet internal and regulatory quality standards.
- Review contractor and supplier workmanship at key project stages, addressing discrepancies when you spot them.
- Prepare clear, actionable technical reports and quality records — your documentation will help steer the project’s success.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and site engineers to clarify standards and solve quality-related puzzles.
- Participate in internal audits, making practical suggestions for improvement when needed.
- Lead toolbox talks or quality briefings that keep everyone — from foreman to project manager — on the same page.
- Play detective when investigating non-conformances and propose realistic corrective actions.
- Keep up-to-date on the latest industry codes and bring fresh ideas for smarter QA/QC processes.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years’ experience in quality assurance or control within the construction industry (civil engineering focus).
- Solid grasp of inspection methods, quality control procedures, and site safety considerations.
- Ability to draft clear technical reports and maintain precise quality documentation.
- Sharp eye for detail coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively on fast-moving, multicultural job sites.
