About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered how the backbone of Abu Dhabi’s world-class roads gets built? Here’s your chance to find out. We’re looking for an experienced Civil Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure) who’s ready to dive in—urgently. If you enjoy fast-paced projects and the satisfaction of seeing your work make a mark on the city’s landscape, this could be exactly where you belong.
About the Company
Tucked inside the industrious buzz of Mussafah, our company has been helping shape Abu Dhabi’s major roadways and infrastructure for over a decade. We’re a tight-knit crew—think of us as problem-solvers with muddy boots and blueprints in our hands, fueled by big ambitions and even bigger cups of coffee. Here, hustle meets heart: our managers roll up their sleeves alongside our engineers, and sharing knowledge is the rule, not the exception. Friday site walkthroughs and milestone celebrations are a proud tradition.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily onsite progress for roads and general infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Coordinating closely with site supervisors, surveyors, and subcontractors to keep everything running smoothly.
- Reviewing project drawings, technical specs, and client requirements (and catching potential issues before they catch us).
- Preparing progress reports and documentation for project managers and clients—your handwriting might even make it into meetings.
- Ensuring all work is carried out according to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Attending site meetings and providing technical support or solutions on the spot.
- Communicating with our procurement team to order materials and manage supply flow for the site.
- Working on multiple projects—and helping pick up the slack when things get busy (which they often do).
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in roads & infrastructure projects (UAE experience highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local standards, asphalt, earthworks, and drainage systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic project management tools.
- Fluent English; Arabic skills are a plus.
- Immediate availability (we really mean it—yesterday would have been ideal).
Nice-to-Haves:
- SOE membership in Abu Dhabi.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Experience coordinating with government entities or consultants.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary, paid on time (we know people say it, but we really mean it).
- Single accommodation provided in Mussafah, so you’re close to the action.
- Annual flight allowance to help you stay connected with home.
- Health insurance from day one—no waiting or wondering.
- Onsite support and mentorship from seasoned project managers.
- The camaraderie of a team that respects hard work and celebrates finishing ahead of schedule.
- Growth opportunities as the company expands across the Emirates.
We know roads aren’t built in a day, but we do everything we can to make every workday rewarding, collaborative, and just a bit different from the last.
