What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and supervise civil works at the project site, ensuring strict compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Organize and direct site manpower, allocating resources where they’re needed most day-to-day
- Manage delivery, storage, and usage of materials and equipment—looking ahead to keep work flowing
- Serve as the on-site contact for engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, making coordination a breeze (or at least as smooth as possible)
- Champion safety: implement standards, conduct spot checks, and foster a culture where looking out for each other is second nature
- Track and monitor progress against timelines, anticipating issues before they escalate
- Report regularly to the Project Engineer or Manager with clear updates, insights, and—when needed—creative solutions
- Pitch in with whatever it takes to help our team (and our project) succeed
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Prior experience as a Civil Foreman or similar supervisory/lead position in construction
- Solid understanding of civil engineering drawings, site practices, and technical procedures
- Strong leadership skills—able to motivate, delegate, and solve problems on the go
- Sharp organizational habits—proactive with materials, schedules, and documentation
- Commitment to enforcing site safety at all times (with the stories to prove it)
- Good communication in English; confident reporting and coordinating with diverse teams
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with UAE construction standards or experience on local projects
- Basic computer skills for site reporting or project management tracking
- Arabic language skills
