About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself at the center of a project that keeps entire oilfields running smoothly? As a Civil Foreman/Job Performer (JP) working on our oilfield sites across the UAE, you’ll turn complex blueprints into real infrastructure — all while keeping your crew motivated and safe. If you want a role where your experience genuinely matters and no two days look the same, you’ll feel right at home here.
About the Company
We’re a fast-growing team specializing in oil & gas construction projects across the Emirates. Our crew is an easygoing (but highly skilled) mix — expect foremen swapping stories over strong coffee and engineers who always make time to lend a hand in the field. There’s a real sense of pride in keeping critical infrastructure up and running, and we take both craftsmanship and safety seriously. Our project managers value initiative, and yes, the legend of our impromptu site barbecues is 100% true.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a team of skilled workers in the construction and ongoing maintenance of oilfield civil works — from foundations to fencing, and everything in between.
- Interpret approved drawings, technical manuals, and work instructions to ensure jobs are performed efficiently and safely.
- Plan daily work schedules, allocate tasks, and make sure your crew has what it needs — tools, materials, and clear direction.
- Supervise on-site activities to ensure compliance with project standards and HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.
- Troubleshoot unexpected issues with a calm head and coordinate with engineers or project managers for quick, practical solutions.
- Keep diligent records of work completed, materials used, and crew timesheets; update project progress reports as needed.
- Ensure quality control at every step — nobody signs off the job until it's truly done right.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 5 years’ frontline experience in civil construction (foreman capacity) — oilfield or heavy industrial sites preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of construction site safety, work permits, and industry regulations in the UAE.
- Strong communication — you’re comfortable leading a diverse crew and relaying updates to engineers or supervisors.
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings, sketches, and scopes of work.
- Proven record in handling tight timelines without cutting corners.
- Basic English proficiency (written and spoken); Hindi/Urdu an advantage.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Past experience on oil & gas projects in Abu Dhabi or wider UAE.
- HSE certifications, or a knack for championing site safety.
- Comfortable using tablets or digital reporting tools.
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive, timely pay — plus overtime where it counts.
- Free, comfortable accommodation with all essentials covered when based on-site.
- Transport provided between site and accommodations.
- A strong safety culture: your wellbeing is genuinely our first priority.
- Frequent training opportunities (from HSE to technical upskilling) if you’re keen to grow.
- Join a supportive, multilingual team — and never eat lunch alone unless you want to!
Our crew is big on respect and reliability, but there’s always time for a good laugh at the end of a tough shift. If you want work that keeps you challenged and colleagues who’ve got your back, you’ll fit right in.
