About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered what it takes to keep the pulse of a busy coffee shop steady and smooth—even on a Monday morning rush? As our new Coffee Shop Supervisor in Al Ain (Al Khaldiya), you’ll be the heart of our operation, making sure every pour, plate, and hello feels just right. If you’re passionate about great coffee, energized by a fast pace, and thrive when every detail is in its place, this might just be your perfect next move.

About the Company

We’re not your average neighborhood café. Our team is tight-knit, diverse, and a little bit coffee-obsessed (yes, we do sometimes debate pour-over methods after hours). Here, hospitality isn’t just a buzzword—it’s how we treat each other and every guest who walks in the door. We’re steadily growing, experimenting with local flavors, and love swapping ideas on everything from new menu items to the playlists behind the counter. Fridays are for team breakfasts, and birthdays never go unnoticed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading by example—guiding, supporting, and motivating our front-of-house team to deliver standout experiences every time
  • Handling daily financial reporting with accuracy—closing registers, balancing the books, and keeping a close eye on cost control
  • Creating thoughtful staff schedules that keep operations smooth and spirits high
  • Managing inventory (from espresso beans to cleaning supplies), anticipating needs, and ordering proactively
  • Overseeing online delivery platforms to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and happy digital customers
  • Troubleshooting equipment and facility issues—whether it’s a finicky grinder or a flickering light
  • Jumping in to serve customers during peak times, making everyone feel at home
  • Ensuring hygiene, safety, and quality standards are consistently met

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role in hospitality or retail
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities—you're calm when others might not be
  • Confidence with cash handling and basic daily financial processes
  • Comfort navigating delivery apps and POS systems
  • Solid communication skills—you’re as good with people as you are with numbers
  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends or evenings as needed

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Love for coffee and willingness to share that passion with staff and guests
  • Basic Arabic skills or familiarity with the Al Ain customer base
  • A knack for finding creative ways to solve problems

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary with opportunities for performance bonuses
  • Generous staff discounts—hello, free coffee!
  • Ongoing training and real pathways for career growth (our managers started out as supervisors too)
  • Supportive, friendly team—your input and ideas are valued, not just heard
  • Clean, safe, and welcoming workspace in a popular, well-located café
  • Flexible approach to scheduling; we understand life happens

At the end of the day, we’re in this for the love of community (and great coffee!). If you care about the details, like to keep things running smoothly, and enjoy making people’s days a little brighter, you’ll fit right in here.
