About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever found yourself doodling a storyboard on the back of a napkin or dreaming up viral video concepts while waiting for your coffee? If the answer is yes, you might just be who we’re looking for. We’re on the hunt for a Content & Production Lead ready to take creative ownership—from the first spark of an idea, all the way through to a polished, share-worthy final product. This is your cue to step into a role where no two days look the same, and where your knack for compelling storytelling actually shapes the heartbeat of our brand.

About the Company

We’re a small-but-mighty creative studio that punches well above our weight. What does that look like? Think: spontaneous brainstorming sessions that lead to breakthrough campaigns, team lunches to celebrate big (and little) wins, and a flat structure where every voice carries weight. Growth is in our DNA: whether we’re pitching fresh formats to clients or tinkering with the latest production tech, curiosity is the thing that sets us apart—and keeps things interesting. And yes, Friday demo days are a thing (and yes, snacks are involved).

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Guiding brainstorms and helping transform wild ideas into actionable concepts for reels, shorts, and episodes
  • Leading the planning and logistics for shoots—think locations, talent, timelines, and more
  • Collaborating closely with content creators, designers, and editors to ensure cohesive, high-quality output
  • Coaching junior team members and encouraging growth—they’ll look to you for mentorship
  • Managing production schedules so nothing falls through the cracks (you’ll be the calm eye in any creative storm)
  • Jumping in on-set when needed, making sure everything runs smoother than a freshly polished lens
  • Keeping a pulse on content trends, always suggesting fresh twists and new formats
  • Navigating feedback from stakeholders and balancing creative ambition with practical realities

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience leading and executing multimedia content shoots (reels, video, social, branded content, or similar)
  • Strong project management chops—you’re calm, organized, and unflappable when deadlines loom
  • Portfolio that proves your story instincts and creative versatility
  • Excellent people skills (you can rally a team, motivate a crew, and charm clients when needed)
  • Proficiency with production tools (it’s fine if you don’t know everything, but you should know enough to collaborate seamlessly)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Interest in emerging formats (e.g., interactive video, AR/VR storytelling)
  • Experience guiding a small team or direct reports
  • Comfort jumping into hands-on video editing or basic motion graphics

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • A truly creative environment where ideas take center stage
  • Flexible hybrid setup: join us in the studio or log in remotely as needed
  • Uncapped potential for career growth—we’re big on promoting from within
  • Regular team outings, lunch-and-learns, and, yes, Friday demo days
  • Access to professional development budget for courses, conferences, or certifications
  • Supportive leadership that values creativity, balance, and initiative

We’re not just building compelling content—we’re building a place where creativity and collaboration go hand in hand. If you’re ready to lead, inspire, and shape the stories that help us (and our clients) stand out, we can’t wait to meet you.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through your process for taking a raw creative idea and developing it into a complete, production-ready concept for video or social content?
  • Tell us about a time you had to manage a high-pressure shoot with complex logistics. How did you ensure everything ran smoothly from planning to wrap?
  • How do you stay up to date on the latest trends in content formats, and can you give an example of how you’ve successfully incorporated a fresh twist or emerging technology into a recent project?
  • What production tools and software are you most comfortable using, and how do you collaborate with editors and designers to ensure a seamless workflow?
  • Describe a campaign or piece you’re particularly proud of. What was your specific contribution from idea to execution, and what made it stand out?
  • When faced with competing stakeholder feedback or tight constraints, how do you balance creative ambition with practical realities without sacrificing quality?
  • As someone who will mentor junior team members, can you share your approach to coaching or supporting less-experienced colleagues through challenging projects?
  • Tell us about a scenario where you had to motivate a team through a creative block or tight deadline. What tactics did you use to keep morale and momentum high?
  • How do you handle unexpected changes or issues that arise on set, and can you provide an example of quick thinking in a live production environment?
  • Collaboration is central to our culture. How do you foster open communication and ensure every voice is heard in brainstorming sessions?
  • In a flat-structured, highly collaborative studio, how do you make sure you both lead effectively and support your peers’ ideas?
  • What excites you most about working in a fast-paced, creative environment with frequent opportunities for trial, error, and experimentation?
  • How do you prioritize your own growth and stay motivated to keep learning, especially when juggling multiple projects?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Content & Production Lead role in a creative studio in the UAE, you should expect a monthly salary in the range of 15,000–22,000 AED, depending on your level of experience and the size of the company. Similar positions that require both creative leadership and hands-on production oversight typically fall within this bracket, especially if you bring a proven portfolio and team management skills. If you also have expertise in trending formats or team mentorship, negotiating towards the higher end of this range is reasonable.
