What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing daily meals focused on authentic UAE and Gulf cuisines — from slow-cooked stews to vibrant salads, your experience with regional recipes will shine.
- Handling all aspects of kitchen work, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining hygiene standards that would please any meticulous home chef.
- Taking special requests into account, such as family preferences or dietary needs, and planning menus accordingly.
- Managing deep cleaning routines throughout the entire home (think sparkling bathrooms, spotless floors, and every corner dust-free).
- Washing, pressing, and professional ironing for the family’s clothing — attention to detail here is a must.
- Assisting with additional household tasks as needed, such as groceries or linen changes, always with a proactive spirit.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least five years’ experience working as a cook or housemaid in the UAE or other Gulf countries.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise in preparing a range of Arabic/Gulf dishes.
- Professional-level skills in deep cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
- Ability to communicate in either Arabic or English.
- A genuine respect for privacy and trustworthiness in the home.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in households with children or multiple family members.
- Familiarity with food allergies or special diets.
