What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcome guests as the face of the hotel: offer a warm smile, a helpful answer, and a smooth check-in or check-out
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolving concerns or special requests with patience and resourcefulness
- Manage reservation systems accurately, ensuring bookings, cancellations, and modifications are handled efficiently
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other teams to coordinate guest needs and ensure rooms are guest-ready
- Support billing and payments securely and with utmost discretion
- For Receptionists: Maintain a polished and professional front desk area, handle incoming calls, and keep the lobby atmosphere calm and welcoming
- Go the extra mile to personalize service, even when the lobby feels like a whirlwind
- Keep guest confidentiality and privacy top of mind (we pride ourselves on discretion)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Warm, engaging communication skills in English (other languages are a plus!)
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience, ideally in a hotel or luxury setting
- Polished, professional presentation — you are the first impression
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Confidence with computers and reservation systems
- Adaptability and a can-do attitude, especially when things get busy
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience in a luxury or 5-star environment
- Fluency in additional languages (Arabic, Russian, Mandarin, or European languages are highly valued)
- Dubai experience or an understanding of Middle Eastern hospitality
