About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ready to hit the road with one of Dubai’s most vibrant hospitality teams? Indigo Hotel, nestled right in the heart of Downtown, is urgently seeking reliable and seasoned Drivers of all stripes — Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, and Chauffeur/Valet Parking roles are available. If you’re looking to rev up your career where no two days are the same, this is your chance. Whether you’re a people-person who loves guest interaction or someone who finds satisfaction in navigating the city’s sleek avenues, we think you’ll feel right at home here.
About the Company
Indigo Hotel isn’t just another name in Dubai’s skyline — we like to think of ourselves as a place where guests (and staff) experience downtown a little differently: vibrant, energetic, and refreshingly genuine. Our team is an eclectic mix from around the world, united by a passion for hospitality and a knack for making good moments great. Fridays sometimes mean spur-of-the-moment tea breaks, and you’ll find management rolling up their sleeves right alongside the crew. We’re steady, but always on the move (much like the city outside our doors).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing a warm, professional welcome by safely and efficiently driving guests and staff to their destinations
- Handling valet parking duties with a sharp eye and a careful touch — think of yourself as the hotel’s first impression
- Maintaining vehicles in tip-top condition, reporting issues quickly rather than ignoring the little stuff
- Navigating Downtown’s busy streets like a pro, always prioritizing punctuality and safety
- Helping guests with luggage or special requests (because sometimes the little extras make the stay)
- Keeping a close eye on schedules and routes — anticipating road changes or traffic and adapting on the fly
- Collaborating with the concierge and front desk to ensure guest transfers and arrivals go off without a hitch
- Adhering strictly to all UAE driving regulations and Indigo Hotel’s own standards of guest care
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Valid UAE driving license for the specific vehicle type (light, heavy, or chauffeur)
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience in the UAE (bonus if it’s in hospitality or valet)
- Familiarity with Dubai roads, especially Downtown and major landmarks
- Presentable, courteous, and professional — you’re a people person at heart
- Legal status to work in the UAE: cancelled visa, own visa, or tourist visa welcome
- Age between 20–50 years
- Currently residing in the UAE (we’re hiring immediately!)
Nice-to-Haves:
- Multilingual skills — every extra language is a plus with our international guests
- Experience handling guest vehicles (luxury or otherwise)
- Knowledge of basic vehicle troubleshooting
- Previous hotel or resort background
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
