About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever thought about leading a creative team where wood, design, and innovation come together to shape spaces people love? As our new Factory Manager, you won’t just keep the machines humming—you’ll help craft beautiful wardrobes, cabinets, and custom furniture that make a real difference in homes and businesses across the UAE. With a growing number of design-savvy clients and exciting projects always in the pipeline, this is a chance to blend hands-on expertise with forward-thinking leadership in a field that’s both traditional and fast-evolving.

About the Company

Step inside our factory, and you’ll feel it—the sense of quiet pride as sawdust fills the air and one-of-a-kind pieces take shape. We’re a well-established name in the region's joinery and furniture industry, known for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and truly listening to what our clients want. Here, technology meets tradition: designers pore over digital shop drawings side by side with seasoned carpenters weighing in on grain and finish. Friday wrap-ups often end with a quick team lunch and walk-through to admire the week’s standout build. If you thrive on collaboration and appreciate the artistry of woodwork, you’ll fit right in with our crew.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily factory operations for wardrobes, cabinets, and custom furniture production, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on time.
  • Translate client requirements and design intent into actionable shop drawings, collaborating closely with both design and production teams.
  • Prepare, review, and interpret shop drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Cabinet Vision, or similar software to ensure every detail is spot on.
  • Lead production planning and scheduling, balancing workloads and timelines for optimal output and high-quality results.
  • Roll up your sleeves to solve production challenges on the floor; troubleshoot materials, machinery, or workflow glitches as needed.
  • Mentor and guide supervisors, carpenters, and joiners, fostering an environment where questions, feedback, and learning are encouraged.
  • Uphold rigorous quality standards through regular inspection checkpoints, raising the bar for craftsmanship and consistency.
  • Keep an eye on project budgets and materials usage, identifying ways to reduce waste and improve efficiency without cutting corners.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Solid experience managing furniture or joinery production, especially with wardrobes, cabinets, and custom builds.
  • Strong ability to prepare and interpret shop drawings with hands-on skills in software like SketchUp, AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, or similar.
  • Proven background in production management, team leadership, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
  • Natural problem-solving ability; you can quickly spot issues—from layout to logistics—and guide your team toward effective solutions.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working with everyone from designers to machinists to clients.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Insight into the UAE market or prior experience in a Gulf-based factory setting.
  • Background in lean manufacturing, workflow optimization, or process innovation.
  • Passion for mentoring junior team members or building a positive, can-do workplace culture.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive, market-aligned salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Supportive team environment where your voice is heard—and good ideas travel fast.
  • Chance to help shape a growing company and deliver projects you’re proud to walk past in the community.
  • Access to industry-standard tools and software with a real investment in ongoing training.
  • Respect for work-life balance—no late-night fire drills, just solid planning and reliable systems.
  • Convenient, well-equipped factory space in the UAE, with safety and staff comfort always top of mind.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career with a team that values skill, creativity, and collaboration, you’ll find plenty to build here—literally and figuratively.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Factory Manager in the UAE joinery and furniture production sector, you should expect a monthly salary of at least 12,000–18,000 AED, depending on your level of expertise and the size of the operation. Similar roles in well-established factories, especially those requiring both strong technical skills and hands-on leadership with design software knowledge, can sometimes command higher packages—particularly if you bring local market experience or a track record in process improvement.
