About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever wondered how your knack for solving computer issues could kickstart a rewarding IT career? Here’s your chance. We’re on the hunt for a fresh IT Engineer to join our supportive crew right here in Sharjah, based conveniently on Hoshi Maliha Road. If you’re new to the field but eager to turn your interest in technology into hands-on expertise, this role could be the perfect launchpad you’ve been looking for.

About the Company

We’re a vibrant, growing team known as much for our quick problem-solving as we are for our welcoming atmosphere. Here, curiosity isn’t just welcomed — it’s encouraged. We believe learning is for everyone, no matter your years of experience, and you’ll find that even the “old hands” ask as many questions as the newcomers. Whether it’s our infamous team tea breaks or the way everyone pitches in during a system upgrade, there’s a sense of camaraderie that's hard to miss. “No one left behind” is kind of our thing.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing first-level technical support to staff, ranging from hardware glitches to password resets (yes, even the “why won’t my printer work?” mysteries)
  • Assisting in troubleshooting network and connectivity issues, learning the ropes as you go
  • Setting up new workstations, installing necessary software, and ensuring everything’s plug-and-play ready for team members
  • Monitoring system performance and reporting irregularities to senior engineers — don’t worry, you’ll never fly solo
  • Updating technical documentation and sharing tips or fixes you’ve discovered along the way
  • Lending a hand during IT maintenance tasks (such as regular system backups or software updates) alongside experienced colleagues

What You’ll Bring

  • Must-Haves:

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (fresh graduates are especially welcome)
    • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking principles, and Microsoft Office tools
    • A real enthusiasm for learning — you don’t shy away from a challenge or new software
    • Clear, effective communication skills (helping people — not just computers — is big here)
  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Any hands-on experience (internships, personal projects, or campus IT helpdesks)
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting Windows and/or basic networking devices

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • An open, encouraging work environment that values questions just as much as answers
  • Regular opportunities for learning — mentorship, on-the-job training, and peer knowledge-sharing
  • Steady working hours with paid leave — because downtime matters too
  • Support for career advancement: we pride ourselves in promoting from within
  • Close-knit team where small wins are celebrated (sometimes with cake)
  • Comfortable office on Hoshi Maliha Road, well connected for Sharjah locals

Here, your growth is our growth. If you’re ready to take the first step in your IT career in a place where you’re more than a number, we can’t wait to meet you.

  • What experience do you have working with Windows operating systems or troubleshooting basic networking equipment?

  • Tell us about a time when you had to ask for help or clarification at school or work. How did you go about it?

  • Can you describe an example of when being naturally curious helped you quickly learn something new—technology-related or otherwise?
  • When working with people who may not be comfortable with computers, how do you make sure your explanations are helpful and reassuring?
  • Give an example of a time you contributed to a group effort or volunteered to help someone outside of your specific responsibilities.
