Our workshop in Al Qusais is busier than ever, and we need an experienced Furniture Frame Carpenter who can turn a photo, a sketch, or a set of measurements into a solid wooden frame that lasts for years. We're a furniture and interior decoration company based in Al Qusais, Dubai, and we've built our name on one simple thing: furniture that looks good and holds up. Our workshop is where it all begins — the frames, the joints, the structure that nobody notices until it fails. Ours don't fail. What You'll Be Doing
- Build wooden frames for sofas, chairs, majlis seating, and beds — from raw timber to a ready-to-upholster structure
- Read and work from measurements, technical drawings, and reference photos with accuracy
- Cut, shape, and prepare wood components to precise dimensions
- Assemble frames and reinforce joints, corners, and bases so they hold up under daily use
- Select the right wood and materials for each piece based on strength and finish requirements
- Sand and prepare frames for the upholstery team
- Coordinate with upholsterers, designers, and workshop supervisors to keep projects on schedule
- Keep your workstation organized and maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid, hands-on experience as a furniture frame carpenter — ideally in a furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out environment
- Proven ability to build frames for sofas, chairs, majlis, and beds
- Confident reading measurements and interpreting drawings or photos
- Strong skills in wood cutting, assembly, joint fixing, and building corners and bases
- Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
- Attention to detail — you notice a 2mm gap before anyone else does
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with different wood types and finishes
- Familiarity with modern woodworking machinery
- A portfolio or examples of past work (photos are perfectly fine)
