About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Build Something That Lasts — With a Team That Actually Cares
Dubai is a city that never stops building, and behind every finished villa, every polished interior, every detail that makes a client say "wow" — there's a skilled pair of hands that made it happen. That's where you come in. EJAZ Technical Services LLC is expanding, and we're looking for 2 aluminum technicians, a gypsum board technician, a ceramic technician, an electrician, and a general worker to join our crew. If you take pride in work that speaks for itself, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Who We Are
EJAZ Technical Services LLC is a technical services and contracting company based in Dubai, specializing in villa works, finishing, and fit-out projects. We're not the biggest name in the market — and honestly, we like it that way. It means every project gets our full attention, and every team member's contribution actually matters. Our reputation has been built one satisfied client at a time, and that's something we protect fiercely.
We're a hands-on team. No layers of bureaucracy, no sitting around waiting for approvals that never come. If you do good work, you'll be noticed — and you'll be given more of it.
What You'll Be Doing
- Installing, assembling, and finishing aluminum works (windows, doors, partitions, cladding) to a standard you'd be proud to put your name on
- Handling gypsum board installation, framing, jointing, and finishing for ceilings and partitions
- Laying ceramic and porcelain tiles with precision — floors, walls, and everything in between
- Performing electrical installations, wiring, and maintenance work safely and to code
- Supporting the team as a general worker — loading, prepping, assisting wherever the site needs an extra pair of capable hands
- Coordinating with site supervisors and following project timelines and instructions
- Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized (because a tidy site is a productive site)
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid, hands-on experience in your trade — we're looking for people who've done this work, not just studied it
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to showing up on time and following site instructions
- A genuine eye for quality — you notice the small stuff
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience with villa works, finishes, or fit-out projects inside the UAE (this is a big plus — you already know the standards here)
- Familiarity with local materials and methods
- A valid UAE driving license (not required, but helpful)
Not sure you tick every box? We'd still love to hear from you. Skills can be sharpened — attitude and reliability can't be taught.
Why You'll Love Working Here
- Steady projects — we're growing, and we need people who want to grow with us
- Fair pay, paid on time — no chasing, no excuses
- A team that respects your craft — your work is the product, and we treat it that way
- Variety of work — villas, fit-outs, finishing — you won't be stuck doing the same thing every day
- Real opportunities to advance — skilled hands don't stay hidden here for long
At EJAZ Technical Services, you're not just a number on a site roster. You're part of a crew that builds things people live in, work in, and enjoy every day. If that sounds like something you want to be part of, we're ready to hear from you.
Common Interview Questions and Tips
To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.
- Walk me through how you'd approach installing an aluminum window system in a villa where the opening isn't perfectly square — what's your process for getting a clean, weathertight finish?
- For gypsum board ceilings, how do you decide between a single-layer and double-layer installation, and what changes in your jointing and finishing approach?
- When you're laying large-format porcelain tiles, what techniques do you use to avoid lippage and ensure consistent grout lines across a whole room?
- Can you describe a typical electrical fit-out for a villa — from rough-in to final connections — and how you make sure everything meets UAE wiring standards?
- Tell me about a time a project didn't go according to plan on site. What happened, and how did you handle it?
- You're working on a fit-out with a tight deadline and the supervisor asks you to speed up without cutting corners. How do you manage that?
- Have you ever spotted a mistake in someone else's work — maybe a level issue or a bad joint — right before handover? What did you do?
- Describe a situation where you had to coordinate with other trades on site — say, electricians and ceiling installers working in the same space. How did you keep things moving?
- What does a well-organized work area look like to you, and how do you keep it that way when the site gets busy?
- This role involves a lot of villa and finishing work where clients sometimes walk through. How do you handle it when someone questions your work or asks for changes on the spot?
- We're a small, hands-on team — no layers of management. What appeals to you about that kind of setup, and what would you find challenging?
- Why does working on high-end finishes and fit-outs matter to you personally? What makes you care about the small details?
