About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever pictured yourself at the heart of Dubai’s booming tech scene, steering ambitious deals while launching the next wave of software and AI solutions? As a Growth Manager here, you’ll have a direct hand in shaping our business pipeline—finding fresh opportunities, strengthening client partnerships, and delivering innovation the market’s hungry for. If the idea of working closely with our founder and diving deep into both sales and strategy excites you, this could be your next big move.

About the Company

Imagine a fast-moving tech startup with a solid foundation and an appetite for genuine, sustainable growth. We’re a team of curious builders, problem-solvers, and self-starters—folks who thrive on pushing boundaries and celebrating shared wins. Our offices buzz with bold ideas and a real sense of ownership; the coffee machine gets a workout on demo days, and it’s not unusual to see impromptu whiteboard sessions erupt after a big client call. Here, your ideas aren’t just heard—they drive our progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the UAE, from fast-growth startups to established enterprises
  • Building, nurturing, and expanding relationships with key accounts; think of yourself as a true partner, not just a salesperson
  • Crafting tailored proposals that showcase our software and AI solutions, and presenting them to decision-makers (occasionally in person, often over coffee)
  • Collaborating closely with our product and technical teams to translate client needs into actionable, revenue-driving features
  • Developing and tracking your own growth strategy (with input from the founder), and reporting on milestones, learnings, and not-so-obvious wins
  • Staying on top of industry trends—AI isn’t standing still, and neither are we
  • Representing our brand at events, conferences, and (sometimes) late-night pitch sessions

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years in a sales or business development role (preferably SaaS, AI, or tech sector)
  • Proven track record of meeting—or exceeding—ambitious revenue targets
  • Confidence in pitching tech solutions to C-level execs and technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; you can read a room and adjust your approach
  • Able to work on-site in Dubai and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working with software or AI products—bonus if you can translate “tech speak” for different audiences
  • Existing network within the UAE’s enterprise or startup ecosystem
  • Hunger to experiment with new sales strategies and tools

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary with uncapped commission—plus clear paths for advancement
  • On-site role in Dubai’s emerging tech hotspot; energizing office atmosphere and a tight-knit team
  • Direct mentorship from the founder, along with regular learning and development sessions
  • Health insurance, generous leave policies, and support for professional certifications
  • Strong focus on work-life balance (really: we mean it), with Friday afternoons set aside for team catch-ups or personal growth projects
  • The chance to shape company strategy, not just execute it—your input matters every day

You’ll have an outsized impact on our journey, joining at a stage where your contributions can truly move the needle. If you’re ready to grow with us—let’s talk.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk me through your experience selling SaaS or AI-driven solutions, particularly your approach to winning over both business and technical stakeholders?
  • How have you previously identified and pursued new business opportunities, especially within fast-growing markets like the UAE?
  • Tell me about a time you crafted a proposal for a complex tech solution. How did you tailor your pitch for different decision-makers?
  • Describe your process for collaborating with product or technical teams to ensure client needs are accurately translated into solution features.
  • What strategies have you used to consistently meet or exceed ambitious revenue targets in a highly competitive market?
  • Share an example of how you kept up with rapid changes in the software or AI industry. How did you use this knowledge to drive results or win business?
  • Imagine you’ve just landed a first meeting with a major UAE enterprise. How would you prepare, and what steps would you take to turn this lead into a long-term client?
  • Give an example of when you successfully nurtured a key account into a significantly larger partnership. What challenges did you face along the way?
  • Tell us about a time you tried an unconventional sales strategy or tool. What happened, and what did you learn from the experience?
  • How do you ensure you’re communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders during negotiations or presentations?
  • Working closely with founders or leadership can be intense. How do you handle feedback and adapt your strategy on the fly?
  • How do you contribute to building a collaborative and energetic team culture, even in a fast-paced startup environment?
  • What motivates you most about being part of a team that celebrates both individual wins and collective progress?
  • How do you maintain work-life balance and sustain high energy during busy weeks, especially when juggling client events and late-night pitches?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For a Growth Manager position in Dubai’s tech and AI sector, especially within a fast-growing startup, you should expect a salary in the range of 18,000–28,000 AED per month, often supplemented by performance-based commission. Similar roles with 3+ years of experience and a track record in B2B SaaS sales typically fall within this bracket, with higher offers possible if you bring strong enterprise relationships or deep AI/software expertise. Aim to negotiate based on your achievements and the value you can add in scaling both partnerships and revenue.
