A well-established contracting company in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi is looking for experienced Gypsum Board Technicians and Skilled Workers to join ongoing interior fit-out projects across the capital. Our projects span commercial offices, retail spaces, residential units, and fit-outs across Abu Dhabi, and our finishing crews are the reason clients keep coming back. What You'll Be Doing
- Install gypsum board ceilings, including false ceilings and bulkheads, according to shop drawings and site instructions
- Build and erect partition walls, metal stud framing, and drywall systems from the ground up
- Handle joint compound work — taping, bedding, and multiple coats of finishing to a smooth, paint-ready surface
- Carry out sanding, patching, and final touch-ups so surfaces pass inspection the first time
- Read and interpret basic drawings, layouts, and level lines on site
- Coordinate with electricians, HVAC, and other trades to keep ceilings and partitions aligned with MEP works
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow site safety rules without being reminded
- Work efficiently under time pressure — handover deadlines don't move, and neither do we
What You'll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Solid hands-on experience in gypsum board installation, false ceilings, bulkheads, partitions, and finishing works
- Working knowledge of joint compound application, taping, and multi-coat finishing techniques
- Ability to work from drawings, measurements, and verbal instructions on an active site
- Physical stamina for overhead work, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- A valid visa status that allows you to work in Abu Dhabi (or readiness to arrange one)
- Reliability — showing up on time, every day, matters more than anything else on a site
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with acoustic ceilings, GRG, or specialty ceiling systems
- Ability to lead a small crew or guide junior helpers
- Prior work on commercial fit-out projects in the UAE
