About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Join Our Family as a Live-In Hindi-Speaking Housemaid in Al Karama
Are you looking for a warm, full-time job where your skills and care truly make a difference every day? We’re an Indian family in Al Karama, Dubai, seeking a dedicated live-in Hindi-speaking housemaid to join us and help look after our lively little girl and our home. If you thrive in a family environment and enjoy a mix of childcare and household duties, this could be the perfect new chapter for you—especially if you have experience in the UAE and a passion for creating a happy, healthy home.
About Us
We’re a family of three driven by tradition, good food, and the joys (and sometimes chaos!) of raising an adventurous toddler. Our home is rooted in Indian values, and we place a high importance on respect, warmth, and mutual support—whether it’s sharing a meal together or celebrating festivals with music and laughter. Our kitchen is the heart of our home, and we love exploring homemade recipes, just as much as we cherish our daughter's curious spirit. We value reliability and kindness, and welcome someone who genuinely becomes part of our daily life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Caring for our 3-year-old daughter – From meal times and story sessions to playtime and naptime routines.
- Preparing tasty, authentic Indian meals – Cooking daily staples and (sometimes!) trying out family favorites.
- Managing household chores – Keeping the home tidy, organized, and comfortable for everyone.
- Helping with laundry, ironing, and minor household errands as needed.
- Supporting family routines and festivals – Pitching in when things get a bit busier than usual.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Fluent Hindi speaking skills and a friendly, gentle manner.
- Prior experience working in a Dubai/UAE household.
- Age between 20 – 27 years (as required for this role).
- Confidence in Indian cooking—whether chapati, sabzi, or dal!
- Openness to live in with our family in Al Karama.
- Preferably, your own valid visa for smooth onboarding.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with toddlers—patience, energy, and a knack for teaching new things are big pluses.
- Flexibility to occasionally help extra during big family events.
- Ability to communicate in basic English.
Not sure you fit every requirement, but think you’d be a wonderful addition to our home? We’d still love to meet you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary of AED 2400.
- Comfortable, private living space in our centrally located Al Karama home.
- Supportive, close-knit family atmosphere—where your work is valued every single day.
- Own visa holders are especially welcome, giving you additional flexibility.
- Opportunity to celebrate Indian festivals, family milestones, and feel truly at home—not just at work.
We understand that the right help can make all the difference for a family—and we do our best to make sure you feel as appreciated as you are. If you’re looking for more than just a job, but a place to belong, our doors are open.
