About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever pictured yourself as the heart and soul of a peaceful household in Dubai? We're looking for a dedicated full-time live-in maid to join our small family in Dubailand, caring for a 2-bedroom home that’s shared by three adults and two rather charming cats. If you enjoy quiet routines, simple comforts, and find satisfaction in keeping a home running smoothly, this could be the calm, supportive environment you’ve been searching for.
About the Household
Our home isn’t a bustling crowd — it’s a tranquil apartment, where everyone respects personal space and values cleanliness. The place? A cozy 2BHK in Dubailand, thoughtfully organized and pet-friendly (our two cats are low-key, but occasional lap-snuggles may happen). You’d be joining a family that appreciates honesty, kindness, and a job well done. Mealtimes are relaxed, and we enjoy simple, home-cooked dishes — nothing fussy, just comforting food and a tidy home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Handling daily cleaning of all rooms (with a gentle touch — think more upkeep than deep scrubbing)
- Preparing and cooking simple, balanced meals for the household (no elaborate recipes required!)
- Taking care of laundry: washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes neatly
- Managing basic household chores: tidying up after meals, taking out trash, making beds, and occasionally helping with organization
- Ensuring the cats have fresh water, food, and a clean area (no big pet care tasks)
- Supporting a smooth, peaceful home routine — we notice and value the small things!
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Reliable experience working as a maid or housekeeper for families
- Ability to cook straightforward, everyday meals (both basics and comfort foods)
- Good spoken English or Arabic to communicate easily with the family
- A genuine reputation for honesty and trustworthiness
- Respect for privacy, calm personality, and attention to detail
Nice-to-Haves:
- Comfort around cats, even if you’re not a “cat person”
- Familiarity with living in Dubai or the UAE
- Friendly, open attitude — we love someone who blends into our relaxed vibe
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Light workload: No childcare or heavy lifting — focus is on comfort and routine
- Free accommodation: Private partitioned space within the home
- All meals provided: Enjoy homemade food, no extra cost
- Salary paid on time: AED 1200/month (with accommodation and meals covered)
- Respectful, drama-free atmosphere: We value open communication and kindness
- Simple, steady schedule: Reliability and routine are our style
You’ll find this household is a genuinely peaceful place — one where your care and attention are noticed, and your presence truly matters. If calm days, furry friends, and a supportive family sound like a fit, we’re excited to welcome you.
