About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to become a part of a close-knit family right in the heart of Dubai? We’re looking for a dedicated, full-time live-in Hindi-speaking Housemaid to join our Indian household in Al Karama. If you enjoy caring for children, love preparing home-style Indian food, and are searching for a welcoming family environment, this might just be the next step for you. The role is urgent, and we’re looking for someone who can start immediately.
About the Family
We’re a warm Indian family making our home in lively Al Karama, Dubai — a place where neighbors greet each other and there’s always something delicious simmering in the kitchen. We truly value trust, mutual respect, and keeping things light-hearted at home (our 3-year-old definitely keeps things playful!). If you appreciate households where tradition and modern life mix — and yes, where laughter and care go hand in hand — you’ll fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking loving, attentive care of our playful 3-year-old daughter — from playtime to nap time
- Preparing fresh and tasty home-cooked Indian meals daily (and enjoying those compliments at mealtimes!)
- Managing common household chores: cleaning, tidying, and keeping things running smoothly
- Occasionally handling small errands or helping with family events
- Supporting family routines and communicating openly if you see something that needs doing
What You’ll Bring
- Spoken fluency in Hindi (and basic English helps, too)
- Hands-on UAE experience as a housemaid, nanny, or similar
- Comfort and skill with Indian-style cooking — from chapatis to curries
- Age between 20–25 years, with a warm, energetic, and trustworthy approach
- A genuine love for children and patience for their little adventures
- Preference will be given to candidates with their own visa, but it’s not a deal-breaker
- Good personal hygiene and a cheerful presence
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary of AED 2200
- Private room and meals provided within our home
- Welcoming, supportive environment where you’ll feel like part of the family
- Flexible days off, and understanding when you need personal time
- Prime location in bustling Al Karama, close to shops, parks, and public transport
- Direct interview and selection — no agencies in between
- Room to grow in responsibility if you’d like
At the end of the day, you’ll be joining a family that values sincere connections and open communication. We want someone who truly enjoys being here — and we promise to do our best to make you feel at home.
