About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to join a warm home where your role truly matters every day? If you’re a Hindi-speaking housemaid who loves caring for children and can confidently take charge of both a bubbly three-year-old and daily household routines, this is your chance. Our Indian family—settled in lively Al Karama, Dubai—needs someone special, attentive, and ready to make a difference. If you’re searching for a trusted, live-in position and can join us right away, you might be exactly who we’re hoping to meet.
About the Family
We’re a close-knit Indian family of three, passionate about creating a cheerful, supportive environment (with plenty of homemade food, laughter, and festive traditions). Our three-year-old daughter is talkative, curious, and always on the move, so there’s never a dull moment. While our home is modern and organized, we value traditional values and treat everyone who stays with us like part of the extended family. If you love working where your efforts are noticed and appreciated, you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take full, independent charge of our three-year-old girl—think story time, play activities, mealtime, naptime, and the occasional tea party!
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming home environment—including sweeping, mopping, laundry, and light kitchen help.
- Organize and manage daily routines for both the child and household (from play schedules to grocery lists).
- Prepare simple, child-friendly snacks and meals (no need to be a chef, but a knack for making rotis is appreciated).
- Communicate clearly and warmly with parents on anything important—whether it’s about the child’s mood or a needed supply.
- Pitch in with any other household tasks that keep things running smoothly. Flexibility and initiative are key in our home.
