About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever thought about joining a small, friendly household where your efforts are genuinely valued each day? We’re looking for a full-time Housemaid to help keep our cozy Ajman Corniche home running smoothly — no children, just a couple who appreciate a clean and welcoming space. If you take pride in your work and like things fresh and orderly, this is a chance to settle into a role where your attention to detail won’t go unnoticed.
About the Family
We’re a relaxed, professional duo who have made Ajman Corniche our home for years. Our place isn’t sprawling or fussy — think simple, inviting, and lived-in, with an appreciation for routines (but never for stuffiness). We’re respectful, discreet, and value reliability. While we love a well-kept home, we’re not after a perfectionist — just someone who cares about doing a good job and communicates openly when something is needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping our living spaces tidy, dust-free, and pleasantly arranged each day
- Handling laundry and ironing, including proper garment care for basic clothing and linens
- Cleaning the kitchen and keeping appliances and countertops spotless — including help with basic meal prep or organizing groceries sometimes
- Regular bathroom cleaning and making sure supplies are always stocked
- Occasional errands like accepting grocery deliveries or quick trips to the nearby store
- Reporting any issues (a leaky faucet, for example) so nothing falls through the cracks
- Helping us keep a peaceful, organized rhythm to household chores — without micromanagement
What You’ll Bring
- Experience as a housemaid, cleaner, or in domestic work — at least 1 year preferred
- An eye for what needs doing — and a knack for keeping things truly clean, not just tidy
- Honest, respectful, and presentable (you’re cheerful, and you know how to be discreet when needed)
- Willingness to do a paid trial period of 1–3 days (so both sides feel comfortable)
- A current passport and visa status (these will be requested if we move forward)
Not sure you check every requirement? Please reach out — we care more about attitude and honesty than a perfect resume.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Regular hours, live-out or live-in arrangement can be discussed
- Simple, calm household — no kids, minimal visitors
- Salary of AED 1,200–1,400 per month, based on experience and trial period
- Prompt salary payment — no chasing needed
- Respect for your privacy and time off: we understand you have a life outside of work
- Fair, transparent expectations (we’re big on honest conversations, not surprises)
You’ll be joining a home that values your contributions and treats you as part of the team — a small, steady job in a genuinely friendly setting.
