About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s really like to be the heart of a busy family’s day-to-day life? As a Housemaid/Nanny for our family in Business Bay, you’ll do more than keep a home running smoothly—you’ll be someone we trust and depend on, day in and day out. If you enjoy transforming chaos into calm and find satisfaction in seeing the immediate results of your hard work, this is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to join a warm, respectful household where your experience and care really matter.
About the Family
We’re a busy, close-knit family making our home in the bustling center of Dubai’s Business Bay district. With work commitments and school activities keeping us on our toes, we value reliability, kindness, and a positive attitude above all else. Our home is filled with laughter (and sometimes spills from the little ones!), and we treat everyone under our roof like family. We’re looking for someone who wants to feel appreciated, be part of our daily routines, and who isn’t afraid to dive in wherever help is needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the family—think everyday cooking, not fancy culinary school stuff
- Helping the kids prepare for their day, including getting dressed, organizing schoolbags, and drop-off/pick-up as needed
- Keeping the home tidy and organized: laundry, dishes, sweeping, and light cleaning—nothing too overwhelming, but daily upkeep matters to us
- Supporting with errands such as grocery shopping or collecting mail (when required)
- Building positive, caring relationships with the children—playing, reading, and ensuring their routines run like clockwork
- Occasionally assisting with guests, family celebrations, or special occasions (helping set the table, pitching in for family meals)
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience working as a housemaid, nanny, or similar role, ideally with basic cooking included
- Currently residing in the UAE (due to immediate start requirement)
- Good communication skills—English isn’t required to be perfect, but you should be able to understand instructions and express yourself clearly
- A proactive, can-do approach to daily challenges (sometimes things get a bit hectic—adaptability is key)
- Respectful attitude towards privacy and family routines
- Willingness to work with children of varying ages
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with young children or infants
- Ability to cook a range of basic cuisines (bonus points if you enjoy trying new recipes!)
- References from previous families or employers within the UAE
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- AED 3,000 salary, paid on time every month
- Visa sponsorship—a smooth onboarding and peace of mind
- Medical insurance for your well-being
- Yearly paid leave so you can reconnect with family or just take a proper break
- Friendly, respectful family atmosphere—no micromanaging, just open communication
- We understand the importance of appreciation—your hard work won’t go unnoticed
- All nationalities are welcome, as long as you’re currently in the UAE
We know trusting a new family is a big step, and we value your trust in us just as much. If you’re ready to join a household that values honesty, kindness, and a steady routine, we genuinely look forward to welcoming you into our lives.
