About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Introduction

Are you someone who notices every detail, from sparkling clean mirrors to the perfect fold on a towel? If so, our Housekeeping Supervisor position might be right up your alley. We’re searching for a hands-on leader with a knack for ensuring high standards, set within the lively hospitality scene of Jumeira, Dubai. At our hotel, you'll have the opportunity to blend your eye for quality with your passion for coaching a team — all while ensuring every guest steps into a spotless sanctuary.

About the Company

Nestled in the heart of Jumeira, our hotel prides itself on being more than just a place for travelers to lay their heads. We're the kind of place where colleagues share lunch breaks with laughter and celebrations happen after a job well done. Our culture? Think professional but welcoming — the sort of team that takes cleanliness seriously, while keeping a light spirit and an open mind. We value teamwork and service, but also love to swap stories from across the globe over a cup of Arabic coffee in the staff lounge.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Overseeing day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team — setting schedules, monitoring workloads, and stepping in to support when things get busy.
  • Conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces to ensure they meet our strict cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Providing hands-on training and ongoing guidance to new staff and seasoned team members alike, sharing tips and company best practices.
  • Managing inventory and supplies: keeping track of stock, placing orders, and finding smart ways to avoid waste.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance department to report and resolve any issues.
  • Addressing guest concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally — you know a satisfied guest is always the goal.
  • Updating records and reports to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Previous experience as a housekeeping supervisor or senior housekeeper — preferably in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a talent for motivating and organizing a diverse team.
  • Keen attention to detail (you spot what others miss).
  • Ability to communicate comfortably with both your team and hotel guests.
  • A responsible, reliable approach — guests and staff know they can count on you.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Basic computer skills for inventory and scheduling.
  • Familiarity with eco-friendly or efficient cleaning practices.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures specific to hospitality.

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here (Benefits & Perks)

  • Competitive salary with regular reviews — because we believe in recognizing a job well done.
  • Free staff meals and beverages during your shift.
  • Branded uniforms and all the tools you’ll need for the job.
  • Supportive leadership and an open-door policy — your ideas and input matter.
  • Opportunities for advancement and skill development within a growing hotel group.
  • Convenient location in Jumeira with easy access to transport.
  • Team celebrations for a little extra fun after hitting our goals.

We’re committed to creating a workplace that feels like a second home — a supportive environment where your work has a real impact on guest experiences and on your own professional journey.

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

You should expect a salary of at least 3,500 to 5,000 AED per month for a Housekeeping Supervisor role in Dubai, especially within well-located hotels in areas like Jumeira. Many hotels in the UAE offer similar packages for supervisory positions, often complemented by in-house benefits such as meals, uniforms, and staff transportation, so be sure to factor these extras in when considering your overall offer. If you bring strong experience or additional skills (like inventory management or eco-friendly practices), aiming for the higher end of this range is reasonable.
