About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself wishing for a hand around the house—someone who not only keeps things spotless, but can whip up a mean plate of pasta or a fresh batch of croissants? We’re looking for a live-in housemaid to join our small family in Al Nahda 1, Dubai. If you take pride in keeping a home tidy, love cooking up classic comfort food, and are happy caring for a child, this could be the right fit for you. No agencies, no commission—just a genuine opportunity to join a warm household from day one.
About Our Family
We’re a friendly family of three—two parents and our lively 8-year-old—calling a cozy two-bedroom apartment home. Mornings are bustling, evenings are relaxed, and our kitchen is often the heart of it all. We believe in trust, clear communication, and treating each other with respect. Fridays often mean home-cooked pizza, and we like keeping things low-key and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll feel like part of the family (not just staff), you might just have found it.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the entire apartment clean and organized, from daily sweeping to helping with laundry
- Preparing classic and simple meals when needed: pasta, pizza, croissants, sandwiches, and lunch boxes for school or outings
- Caring for our 8-year-old: some child-minding, keeping routines on track, making after-school snacks, and a bit of playful energy
- Grocery list help and keeping kitchen basics stocked
- Occasional errands within the building (receiving packages, etc.)
- Supporting with any extra needs as they come up—think of it as being the “heartbeat” of the home
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- A strong sense of cleanliness and pride in housework—every detail matters to you
- Good home cooking skills, especially with simple family favorites like pasta and sandwiches
- Experience caring for children (especially school-aged)
- Friendly attitude and the ability to work independently in a live-in role
- Willingness to start immediately and commit to a long-term arrangement
Nice-to-Haves:
- Love of baking or trying new recipes
- Ability to help a bit with homework or creative activities for kids
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

- Supportive and respectful environment—you’ll be treated like a member of the household
