About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it takes to keep a vibrant household running smoothly in the heart of Dubai? If you genuinely love caring for children and take pride in a tidy, well-managed home, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re an Indian family based in Al Karama, and we’re looking for a dedicated, live-in housemaid who can become a true part of our family—someone youthful, energetic, and caring, who knows that looking after a little one is more than just a job; it’s a real act of trust.
About Us
We're a close-knit Indian family with a bright and playful 3-year-old daughter who keeps us on our toes. Our home buzzes with laughter, warmth, and the occasional Friday video call with relatives back in India. You’ll find us enjoying simple family meals, celebrating small wins (did someone say “potty training success”?), and occasionally sharing recipes or stories around the dinner table. Reliability, trust, and a caring heart are at the core of how we operate — and we look for the same qualities in anyone who joins our home.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Independently care for our 3-year-old daughter — play, supervise, feed, and ensure her safety
- Handle all essential household chores: cleaning, laundry, mopping, washing dishes, and tidying up shared spaces
- Keep the child’s bedroom and play area clean and organized
- Prepare simple snacks or meals for the child if needed
- Assist with basic family routines and help things run smoothly, especially on busy days
- Take initiative in managing your time and responsibilities without constant direction
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience as a housemaid or nanny in the UAE
- Good English communication skills — you can talk and understand instructions with ease
- Age between 20 and 25 years, with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Honest, reliable, and able to work independently
- Willing to live in with the family and treat our child as your own when we’re away
- Preference for candidates with their own visa
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of basic Indian cooking or interest in learning
- A cheerful nature — someone who can make clean-up time fun!
- Prior experience caring for toddlers or young children
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Fixed monthly salary of AED 1500
- Comfortable live-in arrangement in Al Karama, a lively central area with great amenities nearby
- Supportive family environment — you’ll be treated with respect and kindness
- Opportunity to build a long-term, trusted relationship with a loving family
- Occasional time off and support when you need to rest or recharge
We're looking for someone who’ll feel at home with us, and in return, you’ll find a family who truly values your hard work and care. If you’re eager to make a real difference in a young child’s everyday life—and help us keep our home happy and organized—this could be your new beginning.
