About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wished you could make a real difference for a warm, welcoming family — all while building your life and work experience here in Dubai? We’re currently searching for a dedicated, full-time live-in Housemaid to support our close-knit Indian family in Al Karama. This is more than just a job; it’s a unique opportunity to grow your childcare skills and become part of our home. If you love caring for children and running a smooth, happy household, you might just be who we’re looking for.
About the Family
We’re a small Indian family who believes in kindness, honesty, and keeping an upbeat household — with plenty of good food and laughter. Our three-year-old daughter is full of energy and curiosity (there’s never a dull moment with her around). We value initiative and a caring nature, and we want our home to be as comfortable for you as it is for us. Our weekends are for family, but weekdays can get busy, so we’re counting on someone who can be both independent and communicative.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking loving, attentive care of our 3-year-old daughter — from playtime and meals to nap routines
- Planning fun, safe indoor and occasional outdoor activities for her, based on her interests
- Managing basic household tasks: tidying, dusting, laundry, making beds, and staying on top of daily chores
- Preparing simple family meals (we love homemade Indian food!), grocery lists, and light kitchen help
- Keeping the baby’s living and play spaces clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Communicating with us about the child’s needs and well-being — we appreciate regular updates
- Occasionally helping with small errands or family requests as they come up
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Age between 20–25 years, energetic and responsible
- Prior housemaid experience in the UAE (knowledge of Dubai households is a huge plus)
- Able to communicate comfortably in English
- Physically fit, organized, and able to handle the needs of a busy toddler
- A genuine love for children and patience for early childhood routines
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience caring for toddlers or young children in a home setting
- Familiarity with Indian family traditions and food
- Ability to contribute positively to a respectful, drama-free environment
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary of AED 1,800/month, always paid on time
- Comfortable live-in accommodation in a safe and central Dubai neighborhood (Al Karama)
- Weekends off for downtime or family time (with interviews on Saturday or Sunday, so you can meet us first)
- Supportive, family-like environment where your work is valued and respected
- Room to grow — we’re invested in helping you settle in and thrive
- All essentials provided: meals, toiletries, and a private space to make your own
We know it’s not just about work — it’s about feeling at home. If you’re searching for a caring family to join and the chance to make a real difference in a child’s life, we can’t wait to meet you.
