About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to truly become part of a family—helping a home run smoothly while leaving room for laughter and play? We’re looking for a dedicated housemaid (live-in) who loves keeping things tidy, has a flair for home-cooked meals, and feels right at home with little ones. If you have a gentle, child-friendly spirit and hands-on experience with newborns, this might be the perfect place for you to bring your talents—and your stories—to life.
About the Family
Located in the vibrant heart of Dubailand Skycourts (just a short ride from Silicon Oasis), we’re a lively household that truly values trust, kindness, and a sense of humor. Around here, every day looks a little different: some days it’s all about sparkling floors, and others it’s about bedtime stories that never seem to end. Our team—big and small—believes in working together and supporting one another. The joy and well-being of our children are at the heart of everything we do.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the home fresh and welcoming each day—dusting, sweeping, organizing, and handling laundry
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family (nothing fancy, just delicious and nutritious)
- Caring for and engaging with children, including a newborn—feeding, bathing, changing, and soothing as needed
- Creating a loving environment by telling stories, singing songs, and planning playful activities
- Noticing what needs doing before anyone asks—whether it’s refilling bottles or tidying up after a busy afternoon of play
- Supporting parents with daily routines and lending a hand in whatever comes up around the house
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Previous experience caring for children, especially newborn infants—confidence with diapers, feeding, baby sleep routines, and safety
- Good knowledge of basic home cleaning and cooking
- Kindness, patience, and a friendly attitude toward kids of all ages
- Willingness to live in (private accommodation provided) and be part of the family’s daily life
- Ability to communicate clearly and work independently
Nice-to-Haves
- A creative touch for storytelling or playful activities
- Familiarity with the Dubailand/Silicon Oasis area
- Basic understanding of English or another language used at home
Not sure if you meet every requirement? That’s okay—we value those who are willing to learn and grow.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary of 1200 dirhams per month, with everything (accommodation, meals) included
- One full day off (24 hours) every month—your time is respected
- Private, comfortable living space in a safe, friendly community
- Family-style atmosphere where you’re not “just staff”—kids and parents truly appreciate your care
- Supportive, approachable employers who treat you with fairness and respect
- Opportunities for long-term stability
We’re looking for someone who wants to do more than just complete a checklist—someone who wants to build a relationship with our family. If you think you’d be a good fit, we can’t wait to meet you.
