About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to truly make a difference in a family’s everyday life? We’re looking for an experienced, caring Housemaid (Live-In) who not only keeps a home running smoothly but also brings a touch of warmth, storytelling, and playfulness into the lives of young children — especially a newborn. If you’re in or near Dubailand (Skycourt area), and love creating a joyful, clean, and safe environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
About the Family
We’re a friendly, close-knit household who see our housemaid as part of our circle, not just a helping hand. Kids’ laughter fills our home, and we love open conversations, sharing stories at the dinner table, and celebrating small everyday wins. Flexibility and kindness go a long way here — we value someone who takes initiative, is gentle with little ones, and finds joy in both cooking a comforting meal and joining in on playtime. We're conveniently located near Silicon Oasis (Skycourt area), making the commute easy if you’re nearby.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the house neat, clean, and organized — from daily dusting to the weekly deep cleans
- Preparing wholesome, kid-friendly meals (and the occasional special treat, when inspiration strikes)
- Looking after children, including a newborn — feeding, changing, soothing, and making sure their environment is safe
- Creating engaging moments for the kids: telling stories, playing games, and sparking imagination
- Handling all care for the little ones, from naps and bedtime routines to playdates and gentle outdoor walks
- Pitching in around the house as needed, whether it’s laundry, tidying toys, or helping out with family routines
- Being a friendly, reliable companion in our day-to-day life
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Hands-on experience caring for newborns and young children (this is key — we need someone who knows the ropes)
- Friendly, communicative attitude and the ability to genuinely connect with kids
- Basic home cleaning and cooking skills, with an eye for tidiness and nutrition
- Initiative and energy — you’re able to keep up with little ones and the flow of a busy household
- Reliability and trustworthiness; you treat the home as if it’s your own
Nice-to-Haves:
- Creative skills for storytelling, crafts, or children’s games
- Speaking multiple languages, or singing traditional songs to the baby
- Prior experience in similar live-in roles in Dubai or the region
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you — personality and genuine care matter most to us.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary of 1,300 dirhams
- Two well-deserved days off each month
- Live-in setup for comfort and convenience — no long daily commute
- Warm family environment where you’re appreciated, trusted, and welcomed like family
- Plenty of opportunities to make real connections with children, share your culture, and create positive memories
- Located near Skycourt, Dubailand — easy access for those nearby
We care as much about who you are as what you do. If you’re energetic, nurturing, and searching for a home to bring your experience and heart to, we’d love to meet you.
