About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Start Your Next Chapter as Our Family’s Housemaid
Looking for a new role where your skills make daily life a little brighter? As a busy family with three children (though you’ll mainly help with the two older, school-aged kids), we’re looking for a reliable housemaid who enjoys bringing order, warmth, and home-cooked meals into our lives. If you take pride in creating a comfortable, well-run home and find joy in routines, this could be the perfect fit for you — especially if you know your way around a kitchen and care about the details.
About Us
We’re a close-knit family that believes in clear routines, open communication, and creating a happy, welcoming environment for everyone under our roof (guests included — our door is always open for a chat over tea!). Family time is a priority, but with busy work schedules and school runs, we truly value someone who can help keep our home running smoothly. While our little one will be looked after exclusively by us, we see our housemaid as part of our extended team, supporting us in making everyday life less hectic and more joyful.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan, prepare, and cook delicious, family-friendly meals (and sometimes try out new recipes if you’re up for it)
- Care for our two older children with patience and a gentle touch, mostly in the afternoons after school
- Tidy, clean, and organize all main living spaces to keep our home welcoming and clutter-free
- Handle routine household chores — laundry, vacuuming, dishes — with an eye for detail
- Respect and follow our family routines and household rules, helping provide stability for everyone
- Communicate clearly and honestly about daily needs, supplies, or anything unusual you notice around the house
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Proven cooking skills and enjoyment of preparing healthy, tasty meals
- Patience and genuine fondness for children, especially older kids
- Experience keeping a home clean, neat, and organized
- Comfortable sticking to routines and household expectations
- A valid residency permit and permission to work
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous work as a housemaid or in a similar household role
- Sense of humor (a little laughter helps with busy days!)
- Willingness to take on new tasks or learn new family recipes
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Respectful, family-focused work environment where your contributions are appreciated
- Predictable routines (no surprises or shifting expectations)
- Occasional treats and thank-yous — we notice and value good work!
- Supportive parents who communicate clearly and treat you as a partner in the home
- Stable, reliable role with regular hours (plus a chance to become part of the family)
We believe that when our house runs smoothly, everyone can relax and enjoy their time at home. If you’re looking for a steady, rewarding environment where your effort truly matters, we hope you’ll consider joining us.
