About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking for a new start with a kind, busy family in the heart of Dubai? We’re searching for an experienced Housemaid/Nanny who knows how to bring comfort and care into a household. If you take pride in your cooking, have a knack for keeping a tidy home, and genuinely enjoy caring for children, you might be exactly who we’re hoping to welcome. This is a live-in opportunity based in lively Business Bay, with a competitive salary and supportive environment. Sound interesting?
About the Family
Think of us as your “home away from home”—a multicultural family that balances bustling workdays with laughter and togetherness each evening. Business Bay is where we live and work, so things can move quickly, but we value warmth and reliability above all else. On weekends, the house might be filled with children’s giggles or the smell of a fresh meal—we’re looking for someone who enjoys both. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with us, not just for us.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing daily meals for the family (sometimes experimenting with new dishes is encouraged!)
- Keeping living spaces clean, organized, and cozy, with regular housekeeping duties throughout
- Managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organization for the children and adults alike
- Playing with, supervising, and caring for children—sometimes that’s reading a story, other days it’s helping with homework
- Ensuring the children’s safety and well-being at all times
- Coordinating with family members about housekeeping preferences or special requests
- Occasionally running light errands or assisting with family events and gatherings
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Recent experience as a housemaid and/or nanny, ideally in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE
- Confident cooking skills—whether it’s local or international cuisine
- Experience caring for children of varying ages (toddlers and above)
- Good communication skills in English (other languages? Let us know!)
- Currently residing in the UAE, with valid status to work
- Reliability, kindness, and a positive, “can-do” attitude
Nice-to-Haves
- First-aid or childcare certifications
- Experience with infants (helpful, but not required)
- Familiarity with multicultural families or different cuisines
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive monthly salary: AED 2000 - AED 2700, depending on experience
- Free accommodation provided, so there’s one less worry for you
- Visa sponsorship—handled completely by us
- Enjoy a weekly day off for rest and personal time
- Supportive and respectful family environment—we celebrate birthdays, holidays, and achievements together
- Centrally located in Business Bay, with easy access to shops and amenities
- Room to grow with a family that values your skills and care
We understand the importance of feeling at home where you work. If you’re looking for a genuine, long-term role and a family that appreciates your talents, we hope you’ll apply.
