About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever found yourself effortlessly navigating the ins and outs of HR paperwork and government portals—and actually enjoying the puzzle? As our new HR & PRO Officer, you'll be right at the center of our operations, helping us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes while lending your expertise to the crucial tender document process. If you love variety, attention to detail, and want a role that genuinely matters in the fast-paced contracting world of Abu Dhabi, this could be the home stretch you’ve been looking for.

About the Company

We’re not just any contracting company—we like to think of ourselves as a team on a mission. Rapidly growing yet founded on decades of trust, our office culture blends hustle with heart. It’s not unusual to find engineers debating the latest blueprint over karak tea, or HR collaborating directly with project leads to make hiring decisions. Innovation and initiative are applauded here, but so is lending a hand to your neighbor (especially when bid deadlines come knocking). Fridays are our “little victories” day, where we share big wins and celebrate the human side of the construction business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Steer HR and PRO processes with precision—handling employment contracts, onboarding, visa processing, and renewals for both local and expat staff.
  • Manage and update records across all relevant government portals (MOHRE, ICA, Abu Dhabi Municipality, etc.), ensuring 100% compliance (and zero surprises).
  • Prepare and compile both Technical & Commercial Tender Documents, working hands-on with project and engineering teams to make our bids shine.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for staff inquiries about labor law, health insurance, payroll, and other HR topics.
  • Build strong relationships with external government departments, labor offices, and our project partners.
  • Generate HR reports and documentation using Microsoft Office—Excel wizards welcome.
  • Use your AutoCAD skills to assist with certain document preparations or visual presentations, collaborating closely with technical colleagues.
  • Continually spot opportunities to improve our processes and support a positive, efficient workplace.

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves

  • Prior experience (several years) in a similar HR & PRO role within the UAE, specifically in the contracting or construction sector
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and government PRO procedures, portals, and legal requirements in Abu Dhabi
  • Demonstrable experience preparing technical and commercial tender documents (you know your way around specifications and bid packages)
  • Excellent communication skills in English—written, spoken, and professional
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Practical experience using AutoCAD in a professional setting

Nice-to-Haves

  • Working knowledge of Arabic
  • Familiarity with additional project management apps or HRIS platforms
  • Adaptability to changing project needs and deadlines

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Competitive salary package with annual reviews
  • Inclusive, multicultural workplace—respect for every background is our foundation
  • Clear growth path (learn from the best, then drive your own projects)
  • Direct access to senior decision-makers—your suggestions will actually be heard
  • Supportive team spirit (we celebrate milestones and lend support during crunch time)
  • Flexible working hours within reason, and hybrid options for select duties
  • Regular training sessions and upskilling opportunities
  • Central Abu Dhabi office—easy commute, close to great lunchtime spots

Here, you won’t just be another cog in the system. You’ll be a valued member of a team that trusts your expertise and gives you the room to grow—professionally, and as a person.
