What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing daily operations of our ice cream production lines — from mixing to freezing to packaging
- Troubleshooting on the spot when production or equipment hiccups threaten our timelines (ice cream emergencies happen!)
- Fine-tuning formulations to achieve that perfect overrun, texture, and taste — because every detail counts
- Managing, scheduling, and mentoring a diverse team of production staff; fostering a positive, safety-focused work environment
- Collaborating cross-functionally with R&D, quality, and supply chain teams to innovate and launch new flavors
- Monitoring inventory of raw materials, from stabilizers to fresh dairies, and liaising with suppliers as needed
- Implementing and upholding HACCP, food safety, and regulatory standards every step of the way
- Analyzing production data and suggesting process improvements to boost efficiency and minimize waste
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or a closely related field
- 5–10 years’ direct experience in ice cream or dairy production (factory or plant level)
- Deep practical knowledge of formulations, stabilizers, overrun, and the craft behind ice cream
- Proven team leadership skills — you know how to motivate, manage, and mentor in a busy environment
- Comfort in making time-sensitive decisions and staying calm under pressure
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with automated production lines or scaling artisanal recipes to volume production
- Comfort in a bilingual/multicultural setting (Arabic or Hindi helpful but not required)
- A creative streak when it comes to flavor development or process optimization
