About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements

Ever worked on turning empty spaces into something truly remarkable? If you’re an execution contractor or subcontractor with a knack for making interiors come alive, this opportunity might just have your name on it. We’re an established interior design and fit-out company actively seeking skilled partners for exciting new projects all across the UAE. With demand booming for standout designs and flawless finishes, you’ll be part of a team that values quality craftsmanship and collaborative relationships in every square meter we create.

About the Company

We're not just another fit-out firm — our team treats every space as a canvas, blending artistry with technical know-how. Headquartered in the heart of the UAE, we've completed everything from swanky commercial offices to stylish residential makeovers. Our crowd? Think ambitious designers, hands-on project managers, and craftspeople who believe lunch breaks are best enjoyed together (and, yes, we celebrate handover days like mini holidays). Transparency, respect, and relentless attention to detail shape the way we work with everyone — and that extends to our contractor partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Taking on full-scope execution for designated trades within our active and upcoming interior projects
  • Coordinating closely with our in-house project managers and site supervisors for seamless work integration
  • Delivering precise painting and decorative finishes — durability and aesthetics are both key
  • Applying epoxy coatings in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring safety and specification compliance
  • Installing, finishing, and detailing gypsum board and suspended ceiling systems, including feature designs
  • Handling all aspects of electrical work (as per regulations), from first fix to final fit-out
  • Supplying, laying, and finishing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, keeping a sharp eye on alignment and grouting quality
  • Troubleshooting site obstacles — we love a proactive problem-solver
  • Maintaining site cleanliness and safety standards, respecting both our team and the client’s expectations

What You’ll Bring

Must-Haves:

  • Demonstrable experience executing similar works for fit-out/interior projects in the UAE
  • Well-versed with the relevant local codes, standards, and approval processes
  • Reliable team structure and manpower — ready to mobilize within short notice
  • Transparent communication, solid references, and a cooperative work style

Nice-to-Haves:

  • A portfolio of past project photos or case studies
  • Previous collaboration experience with design-driven contractors
  • Ability to support with value engineering suggestions where appropriate

Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Consistent pipeline of projects with renowned clients and architects
  • On-time, hassle-free payments — we know the value of keeping partners happy
  • Genuine collaborative spirit between subcontractors and our core team
  • Site safety and decent working conditions always prioritized
  • We celebrate success, share project milestones, and enjoy keeping things human (not just transactional)
  • Flexible engagement terms for long-term and spot project opportunities

You’ll be part of a community that respects your craft and wants you to shine. If you’re ready for a partnership where your skill and dependability are truly valued, let’s build something amazing together.

Common Interview Questions and Tips

To help you prepare and feel confident, here are some questions you might encounter during the interview process for this role.

  • Can you walk us through a recent interior fit-out project you executed in the UAE, highlighting your involvement from mobilization through to completion?
  • How do you ensure that your trade-specific works — like applying epoxy coatings or installing gypsum board systems — meet both aesthetic and durability requirements?
  • What steps do you take to stay compliant with UAE local codes and standards during electrical and other specialized installations?
  • Tell us about a time when you had to troubleshoot unexpected site obstacles. How did you coordinate with the main contractor or project manager to find solutions?
  • How do you prioritize site cleanliness and safety when working alongside multiple teams on a high-traffic project?
  • Describe your process for delivering quality finishes, such as ceramic tiling, at scale while maintaining alignment and grout consistency.
  • Have you ever provided value engineering suggestions that led to a better project outcome? What was the situation and result?
  • Can you share how you structure and manage your team to ensure readiness and reliability, especially when faced with tight mobilization schedules?
  • How do you handle transparent communication and updates with both client representatives and the design team throughout the course of a project?
  • When collaborating with design-forward clients or GCs, how do you balance their creative vision with on-site practicalities or technical constraints?
  • Our team enjoys celebrating handover days and making milestones memorable. What role does recognition or team culture play in your own work environment?
  • Working across diverse sites, how do you foster good relationships with both your own crew and other site partners?
  • Tell us about a time when teamwork made a noticeable difference in the success and delivery of a challenging project.
  • What do you value most in a contractor-client partnership, and how do you contribute to building that kind of relationship?

Market-Based Salary Overview and Analysis

For experienced execution contractors and subcontractors specializing in interior fit-out works in the UAE, you should expect a monthly project fee ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 AED, depending on the scale and complexity of the tasks involved (painting, gypsum, tiling, electrical, etc.) and the manpower you provide. Similar roles with reputable design-driven firms often pay at the higher end for demonstrated reliability, speedy mobilization, and a strong project portfolio, so it’s wise to negotiate fees that reflect both your experience and the quality standards expected in this busy market.
