What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing the company’s entire IT infrastructure, from server rooms to remote endpoints—keeping everything running like a well-oiled machine.
- Managing and optimizing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure seamless, high-quality IT support for both internal teams and external clients.
- Leading incident response for technical hiccups or outages, minimizing downtime with a calm, methodical approach (and a sense of humor when it counts).
- Collaborating with network engineers and support staff to implement strategic upgrades and preventative maintenance routines.
- Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on key infrastructure metrics to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Acting as a liaison between technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders—translating “tech-speak” into actionable business solutions.
- Coaching, mentoring, and supporting junior IT staff, fostering growth in both their technical skills and professional confidence.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 7 years of hands-on IT management experience, ideally within a service-focused environment.
- Current residency in Abu Dhabi with a valid work permit.
- Strong practical knowledge of IT infrastructure management, including networks, servers, and endpoint security.
- Demonstrated experience with setting, managing, and measuring SLAs.
- Calm, organized approach to incident management and emergency troubleshooting.
- Excellent English communication skills—verbal and written.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Previous experience leading cross-functional IT teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- Arabic language skills.
