What You’ll Be Doing
- Ironing an array of garments: silks, linens, uniforms, suits, traditional attire, and more, always matching technique to fabric needs
- Inspecting each piece for stains, tears, or special care instructions before ironing
- Prioritizing speed without sacrificing immaculate finish—time is important, but perfection is king
- Maintaining pressing and ironing equipment in spotless, safe condition
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily quotas and special requests
- Keeping your workspace organized—no one likes searching for a missing spray bottle under a pile of hangers
- Offering occasional garment handling advice to junior teammates or clients
