About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever considered how much a perfectly pressed shirt or freshly laundered sheet can brighten someone’s day? We’re looking for seasoned Laundry Workers—both Pressers (Ironing Staff) and Washmen—to bring their expertise to our busy laundry facility in Abu Dhabi. If you’ve mastered the art (and science) of professional laundry care and are searching for a reliable, full-time position with a supportive team, this could be the fresh start you’ve been waiting for.
About the Company
Here’s a little about us: we’re a well-established laundry service right in the heart of Abu Dhabi, trusted by locals and businesses alike for our attention to detail and friendly service. Our team is a lively group, always swapping tips on the best stain-removal tricks or the quickest way to get perfect creases. We believe in treating our staff with respect—many of our laundry workers have been with us for years, and we make it a point to celebrate every milestone, big or small. Free accommodation near our facility means most of us are practically neighbors (and yes, we do tend to share more than a few post-shift meals together).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating commercial washing machines and dryers, making sure every load meets our quality standards
- Ironing and pressing linens, uniforms, and garments with care and skill (knowing the difference between a sharp hotel sheet and a gently pressed dress shirt)
- Sorting laundry items by color, fabric, and washing requirements—attention to detail is key here
- Checking for stains, tears, or repairs needed before, during, and after the washing process
- Folding, hanging, and packaging laundry to keep everything organized and ready for delivery
- Keeping your work area clean and equipment in top shape—it’s all about pride in your work
- Working closely with teammates to meet daily targets and keep things running smoothly
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous hands-on experience working in a laundry—whether you’re a pressing pro or a washroom wizard
- Currently residing in the UAE
- A valid UAE visa
- Ability to work on your feet for most of your shift and manage a steady workflow
- Reliability, punctuality, and a genuine commitment to quality
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience specifically in ironing or pressing for hotels or commercial clients
- Familiarity with industrial laundry machinery and best safety practices
- Strong teamwork skills—everyone here supports each other
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary ranging from AED1600–1800 per month, based on your experience
- Free, comfortable accommodation just steps from work (no long commute—sleep in a bit!)
- Friendly, tight-knit team — you’ll always have someone to ask for help or share a laugh with
- Opportunities to learn, grow, and take pride in a consistently valued skill
- Stable, full-time hours with management that values your time and effort
- You’ll see the impact of your work daily—our clients never stop appreciating it
We know laundry might not sound glamorous, but for us, there’s real satisfaction in doing it right. If you’re looking for a steady role in a supportive environment, you might have just found your spot.
