About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Looking to keep things crisp, spotless, and running like clockwork? Our team is searching for a Laundry Worker who finds satisfaction in seeing freshly folded stacks of towels and a job well done. Whether you’re looking to build experience in the hospitality industry or enjoy the practicality of hands-on work, this is a role where your efforts genuinely shine. In today’s fast-paced world, high standards of cleanliness are more important than ever — and you can help us make that difference, one load at a time.
About the Company
At our core, we’re a tight-knit group that takes pride in the little details—think neatly pressed collars and perfectly sorted linen closets. We serve a wide range of customers, from busy local hotels to healthcare facilities and everything in between, so every day brings something new. Teamwork is the backbone of our operation (and, yes, there’s always friendly competition over who folds the best fitted sheet). You'll find us swapping stories over morning coffee and celebrating big milestones—like hitting a spotless record during inspection week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sorting incoming laundry by type, color, and required cleaning method
- Loading, operating, and unloading washers and dryers with careful attention to settings and safety
- Inspecting items for stains, wear, or needed repairs—flagging anything that doesn't meet our standards
- Using commercial ironing and folding equipment, keeping items wrinkle-free and guest-ready
- Packaging finished laundry neatly, ready for delivery or collection
- Keeping laundry rooms tidy—organizing detergents, wiping down machines, and ensuring everything’s in its place
- Following company cleaning protocols and hygiene standards every step of the way
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar role (even informal experience counts!)
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail—you notice when things aren’t quite right
- Ability to lift, move, and carry laundry loads (don’t worry, we’re not talking superhero strength)
- Willingness to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Reliability—you show up on time and ready to pitch in
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment or industrial cleaning supplies
- Comfort with following written or verbal instructions in English
- A knack for organization (if you alphabetize your closet for fun, you’ll fit right in)
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Steady, predictable schedule—say goodbye to last-minute changes
- All uniforms and protective gear provided (no worrying about what to wear)
- Supportive, friendly team where your contributions are noticed and valued
- Opportunities to pick up extra shifts if you’re looking for more hours
- Training provided—you’ll learn the ropes regardless of your starting point
- Employee recognition and small perks, from birthday treats to team breakfast Fridays
We care about doing things well, treating each other with respect, and making sure everyone’s part of the story. If you’re looking for a stable place to work where effort and attitude matter, we’d love to meet you.
