About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Ever wonder what it takes to run the engine room of a fast-moving live streaming company? This isn’t a desk job where you’re just ticking boxes — it’s a hands-on role where you’ll be shaping how creators connect with audiences in real time, every single day. We’re looking for a Live Streaming Operations Manager who’s equal parts people person, planner, and problem-solver to join Star Heaven Media in Dubai. If you’ve got experience running live operations and you’re ready to take ownership of a growing team, this could be the perfect next chapter for you.
About the Company
Star Heaven Media isn’t your typical content house. We’re a fast-growing player in the live streaming space, based in the heart of Dubai South’s Airport City — right where things are buzzing. We work with a diverse roster of streamers and creators, and our vibe is energetic, collaborative, and a little bit obsessive about quality. We’re at that exciting stage where things are scaling quickly, which means there’s real opportunity for someone who wants to leave their mark. It’s not all serious though — our team is tight-knit, and we genuinely enjoy what we do. If you’re looking for a place where your ideas actually get heard, you’ll feel at home here.
What You’ll Be Doing
This role is all about keeping the ship running smoothly while also pushing it forward. Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:
- Leading and mentoring the live streaming operations team — you’ll be the go-to person for your crew, helping them grow, solve problems, and hit their targets
- Building and managing schedules that balance streamer availability, content demand, and platform requirements — no easy feat, but you’ll make it look effortless
- Setting clear KPIs and tracking performance — you’ll know exactly where things stand and what needs tweaking, and you’ll act on it fast
- Designing and running training sessions to keep the team sharp on everything from new platform features to engagement best practices
- Overseeing day-to-day operations — think quality control, troubleshooting live issues, and making sure everything runs without a hitch (or if it does hitch, fixing it quickly)
- Collaborating with other departments — you’ll work closely with content, marketing, and tech teams to make sure everyone’s aligned and moving toward the same goals
What You’ll Bring
We’re not looking for someone who’s done this exact job before — we’re looking for someone who’s done something close and can prove they’ve got the instincts to thrive here. Here’s what we’d love to see:
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience in live streaming operations, creator management, or a related field (platforms like TikTok Live, Bigo, or similar are a big plus)
- Proven team leadership experience — you’ve managed people before and actually enjoyed it
- Strong organizational skills — you can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
- Data-driven mindset — you’re comfortable working with numbers and using them to make decisions
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a bonus, but not required)
- Availability to work flexible hours — live streaming doesn’t always happen 9-to-5, and you’re okay with that
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with content strategy or audience growth
- Familiarity with the Middle East market and local streaming trends
- A background in entertainment, media, or tech startups
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you — sometimes the best hires come from unexpected places.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
Beyond the obvious perks, this is a place where you can actually grow. Here’s what’s in it for you:
- Competitive monthly salary of AED 7,000–8,000, plus housing and transportation provided — that’s a big deal in Dubai, and we know it
- Real career growth — we’re expanding, and the people who prove themselves here get first pick at new opportunities
- A supportive, hands-on culture — your manager will have your back, and so will the rest of the team
- The chance to work in Dubai South — one of the most dynamic and up-and-coming areas in the city
- A role where you can see your impact — you won’t be a cog in the machine; you’ll be driving results that matter
At the end of the day, we want you to feel like this is more than just a job. It’s a place where you can build something, grow your skills, and actually enjoy the people you work with. If that sounds like your kind of environment, we’d love to talk.
