About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever wondered what it’s like to become an integral part of a family—where your care truly makes a difference every single day? We’re looking for an experienced Filipino maid and nanny to live in with us and bring warmth, reliability, and a cheerful spirit into our home. If you’re passionate about caring for newborns, confident around household tasks, and someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, this could be your next home away from home.
About the Family
Ours is a lively household where routines are built around the needs of our little one, but laughter and flexibility reign. We believe in open communication and mutual respect—think of us as a place where everyone’s contribution is valued, whether it’s prepping a family meal together or sharing a quick story after a long day. Our family is growing, and while we appreciate order, we’re not afraid of a bit of creative chaos (as long as someone remembers to restock the diapers!). Support and kindness matter most to us.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing attentive, gentle care to our newborn, including feeding, changing, and keeping track of basic routines
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the house—sweeping, mopping, dusting, and making sure each space feels inviting
- Handling laundry duties: washing, folding, ironing, and organizing clothes
- Preparing simple, nutritious meals—think easy sandwiches, pasta, rice dishes, chicken, steak, and keeping those veggies chopped and ready
- Restocking kitchen and cleaning supplies regularly: taking inventory and letting us know when things are running low
- Managing household essentials (like groceries, toiletries, diapers) and helping keep the household running without a hitch
- Jumping in where needed—sometimes that means a little extra tidying or helping with errands
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- Previous experience caring for newborns and young children in a home environment
- Excellent references from past employers
- Skills in general house cleaning, laundry, ironing, and basic meal preparation
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage household supplies
- A humble, honest, and cheerful attitude—someone who brings positive energy into the home
- Willingness to be a live-in part of the family
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with making grocery lists or online ordering
- Experience managing a busy household with multiple schedules
- Any extra culinary skills or favorite family recipes you’d like to share
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Family-like atmosphere—your efforts make a real difference and you’ll always be appreciated
- Comfortable live-in accommodations with privacy and respect for your downtime
- Competitive compensation and reliable, on-time pay
- Support and kindness from a family that truly values trust and good spirits
- Flexible routines with opportunities to contribute ideas and help shape the daily flow
- Occasional small treats—whether it’s a special dessert, a shared movie night, or your own favorite snack on the shopping list
There’s a genuine warmth here, and we hope you’ll feel right at home among us. If you believe in caring with heart and putting honesty and good cheer first, we can’t wait to meet you.
