About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself being the person that everyone in the office counts on—the one who just gets things done, no matter what’s thrown at them? As our next Office Administrator, you’ll have the chance to be the hub of our fast-paced team in Deira, Dubai. This isn’t just about paperwork and phone calls; it’s the behind-the-scenes role that keeps our projects moving, our people talking, and our office running like a well-oiled machine—especially important in the construction and maintenance world.
About the Company
Tucked in the heart of Deira, our company has been a trusted partner in the construction and maintenance contracting sector for over a decade. We’re a close-knit crew grounded in teamwork, mutual respect, and good coffee (the latter is non-negotiable). Our managers roll up their sleeves right beside you, and there’s no such thing as a "typical day"—something our team thrives on. We believe that small gestures matter, from the birthday croissants to the high-fives when a big project wraps up.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping the wheels turning on daily office operations—think supplies, schedules, and a bit of light problem-solving when the WiFi decides it’s done for the day.
- Serving as the go-to point for all documentation: organizing, filing, and ensuring our records are sharper than a new box cutter.
- Coordinating meetings, from scheduling to making sure the conference room doesn’t run out of water or, worse, pens.
- Sorting and handling all incoming and outgoing correspondence—emails, letters, reports—so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Providing administrative support to senior management: preparing documents, gathering information, and handling those “can you just...” moments with a smile.
- Maintaining and updating internal systems related to HR, procurement, and project records (some Excel magic wouldn’t go amiss here).
- Occasionally assisting with logistics for visiting clients or on-site staff—sometimes, being the office hero means finding that lost hard hat.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves:
- At least 3 years’ solid experience in an office admin role, ideally in construction, engineering, or maintenance contracting.
- Comfort with the usual MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a knack for keeping digital files organized.
- Strong communication skills—in English, and Arabic is a bonus!
- Attention to detail (if you spot a typo in this ad, consider it a sign).
- Friendly, approachable, and discreet—you’ll be handling sensitive information and lots of personalities.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with project management or ERP systems.
- A sense of humor (there’s plenty, but more is always welcome).
- Any additional language skills.
Not sure you fit every requirement? Don’t worry—we’d still love to meet you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here

- Work/life balance: Standard hours, minimal overtime—and we genuinely mean it.
