About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Ever found yourself thriving at the busy intersection where operations meet precision, and every well-timed decision keeps the whole business humming? If so, you might be exactly who we’re looking for as our next Operations & Inventory Coordinator here in Dubai. This isn’t just a role for spreadsheet aficionados—it’s a chance to ensure that orders flow smoothly, customers are never left waiting, and the warehouse floor feels more like mission control than chaos. Especially now, as supply chains in the region are transforming at record speed, your attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities can really have an impact.
About the Company
We’re a tightly-knit team at a mid-sized, growth-focused firm specializing in distribution and production. While our product range is impressive, it’s the rhythm and camaraderie of our operations floor that really sets us apart (don't be surprised if someone brings in homemade sweets after a big delivery run). Transparency and mutual support are more than buzzwords here—they’re how we keep getting better, from quarterly brainstorming sessions to impromptu hallway huddles. Growth is steady, expectations are clear, and there’s plenty of room to carve out your own space on the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee daily inventory levels for both finished goods and raw materials—making sure nothing’s ever “out of sight, out of mind.”
- Update and maintain accurate stock records in our inventory system (and yes, we appreciate a tidy database).
- Receive and process customer purchase orders (LPOs), ensuring every detail is spot-on before moving forward.
- Prepare and issue timely sales invoices and delivery documents for outgoing shipments.
- Monitor stock availability to minimize shortages or overstock situations—think of yourself as the orchestra conductor of supply.
- Coordinate closely with production teams, aligning manufacturing schedules with sales orders and actual inventory needs.
- Generate daily and weekly production reports to keep everyone in the loop and ready to react.
- Liaise with warehouse staff, sales teams, and occasionally suppliers to troubleshoot snags before they become problems.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Haves
- Previous experience in operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination (ideally in a fast-paced environment)
- Confident with inventory software and Excel—bonus points for ERP system familiarity.
- Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail, especially when multitasking.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both in person and in writing.
- Comfortable working on-site in Dubai with a cross-functional team.
Nice-to-Haves
- Exposure to production planning or experience working in a manufacturing/distribution setting.
- Familiarity with import/export documentation or logistics processes.
- Arabic language skills (not required, but always a plus).
Not sure you tick every box? We’d still love to hear from you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary and annual bonus opportunities.
- Supportive team culture—people genuinely celebrate each other’s wins and lend a hand when things get hectic.
- Modern, open-plan office with free refreshments (and regular themed snack days).
- Training and growth opportunities—it’s not unusual for team members to move up quickly or branch out into new roles.
- Conveniently located office in Dubai, close to public transport options.
- Generous annual leave and local holidays, plus flexibility for special occasions.
Sometimes, the best jobs are the ones that grow alongside you. Here, your efforts keep the whole operation in sync—and there’s real pride in that.
