About the Role: Responsibilities, Skills, and Requirements
Introduction
Are you the kind of person who thrives on the rhythm of a busy day, where no two hours are ever quite alike? If so, you might just be the Operations Supervisor we’re looking for. In this hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi, you’ll wear two hats — overseeing both our bustling restaurant and our vibrant entertainment park. If you love the energy of hospitality and the challenge of keeping guests smiling (and coming back!), this could be right up your alley.
About the Company
We’re a homegrown, family-friendly destination where food meets fun. Our team is diverse, passionate, and more than a little competitive about our monthly service awards (there’s an actual trophy — and, just between us, a whole lot of pride at stake). While we’ve been around for a few years and built up quite the regular crowd, we’re always brainstorming ways to keep things fresh — which is why creativity and initiative matter so much to us. Fridays can mean anything from a team breakfast to rolling out a brand-new theme night.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking charge of daily operations across the restaurant and entertainment park — ensuring every shift runs smoothly from open to close
- Coaching and leading your team to deliver standout service, jumping in to lend a hand or answer a question whenever needed
- Monitoring costs, scheduling staff, and managing inventory to keep things efficient (without ever losing sight of quality)
- Brainstorming, launching, and tracking creative marketing campaigns, special offers, and live events to boost footfall and keep experiences memorable
- Handling guest feedback, resolving any hiccups quickly, and turning dissatisfied visitors into loyal fans
- Collaborating with management on process improvements — your insights are key!
- Keeping an eagle eye on health, safety, and hygiene standards (and making sure our high standards never slip)
What You’ll Bring
- Several years of hands-on supervisory experience, ideally in multi-faceted hospitality or leisure settings
- A knack for motivating diverse teams — you build people up, and it shows in the results
- Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make call-the-shots decisions when it matters
- Creative flair for events, promotions, and guest engagement (your ideas aren’t just interesting — they work)
- Comfort with operational numbers: scheduling, targets, budgets, costs, all that jazz
- Excellent communication skills, both with guests and behind the scenes
- A cool head under pressure, and the flexibility to embrace those “never a dull moment” days
Not sure if you meet every requirement? We’d still like to get to know you.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- Competitive salary package and performance-based incentives
- Supportive team with a true “all together” spirit — you’ll never be left in the lurch on a busy day
- Opportunities to pitch (and run) your own ideas, with room to move up as we continue to grow
- Employee discounts for everything from meals to fun park entry
- A dynamic environment where creativity and adaptability are genuinely valued
- Regular staff events, recognition programs, and those little unexpected perks that make a workplace feel like home
We think working here is special — and if you’re someone who loves making busy places hum, it just might feel that way for you, too.
